Katri and the case of the Haunted Asylum, Day 5

Day 5.
Today as I woke up, I saw two other beds were taken as well. Apparently Daisy and Edward had snuck in to catch some z's at some point in the night. It's kind of relieving that I'm not the only one to need sleep after all.

I was pretty hungry, so I dared to make some pancakes for breakfast. Thankfully I didn't cause any stove accidents.

This is really starting to get on my nerves: still no Architecture position in the newspaper! How are they expecting me to fullfill my LTW if I can't get the job? Or even scarier, maybe they don't expect me to fullfill it...

There was nothing to be done but to try and push the paranoia away, and get on with the tasks of the day. As I was gardening, I was joined by Felix, Bernadette and Gabriel, who quite like the outdoors.

When I was done with the weeding, I had some time to hit the books. I think mechanical skill should be helpful for an architect.

I wasn't the only one working on my skills today. Annie had a friendly game of chess with Edward, and Cecily could be heard playing the piano again.

I saw Felix and Bernadette through the window, they were apparently getting quite friendly. That made me smile.

I have a confession to make. I cooked lunch again, of course to keep everyone alive and well, but this time I had an ulterior motive. I invited everyone to eat, and then finished my own meal quickly, so I could get to the piano before the others were done eating. Sometimes you have to do what you have to do, especially in an asylum.

Daisy was kind enough to help cleaning up the plates after lunch. With different inhabitants, this place would probably be a mess by now.

I don't quite understand Daisy's taste in films, though. In a place like this, I don't feel any need to watch spooky movies, but she apparently does. Well, to each their own I guess.

In the evening, it was back to the garden for me. The plants need their water.

The werewolves transformed again. Apparently it can still be a shocking experience if there's no one around to distract you from it.

We had a new ghostly visitor tonight, a youngish woman. I wonder what's up with all these ghosts.

After a long day, we were all hungry again, especially the werewolves. I made some more spaghetti. I hope nobody gets sick of spaghetti and mac and cheese, as those are simple dishes that hopefully won't catch the house on fire.

After the dinner it was apparently time for some fun and games, at least according to Annie and Daisy.

Not all of us were in a great mood, though. Despite being good friends, Felix and Gabriel had a bit of an argument, and Cecily was seen crying. It's not easy being in a facility like this.

I was exhausted and had to go to bed, once again not sure how things would go while I was asleep.

From what I heard afterwards, the night was mostly uneventful, mostly consisting of hanging out. In the bathroom.

Our plantsims were outside and eventually passed out there. Felix reported noticing tonight's ghost shortly before losing consciousness for lack of sunlight, but she was simply floating peacefully by. I suppose being passed out has the plus side of not getting scared by ghosts? If so, maybe it's not so bad being a plantsim in a haunted asylum after all.

The morning came, as it always does. We survived our fifth night.

And that's it for day 5! Thanks for reading, and happy simming!
