Katri and the case of the Haunted Asylum, Day 7

Day 7.
I woke up rather late today, last night was a pretty long one. In the end, I needed to get out of bed and check up on my fellow inmates.

They seemed to be doing fine. I had to break up a nice little heart-to-heart between Annie and Cecily to be able to use the bathroom.

Over breakfast, Cecily was asking me about the job situation. I tried to sound optimistic, but it wasn't entirely truthful regarding how I felt.

After a deep breath, I opened today's paper and scanned the jobs section, while Daisy followed on with a hopeful look on her face. No Architecture.

I tried to put on a brave face, to avoid discouraging the others. An Architecture position just has to come up sooner or later. I was cheered up when I saw that Edward was looking very happy this morning.

I don't really know what's going on in here. For one thing, my simself does not have the outgoing points to fingergun, and yet, she did. Also, I don't know what Edward might be getting 8,000 aspiration points for. My only guess is maybe he had a want for multiple BFFs? Well, in any case, aspiration points are definitely a good thing, both for Edward and for the scoring of this challenge. That is, if an Architecture position does ever come up.

Thank goodness for my kind and tidy fellow inmates! If I had to take care of all the cleaning around here, either I'd never get anything else done, or alternatively we'd all die by flies.

Now I can fortunately concentrate on the things that need to be done by me, such as gardening.

Or repairing, for that matter. My mechanical skill got some practical exercise when both the tub and the shower broke today.

I've noticed that Gabriel has developed a habit of playing "loves me, loves me not". He always seems to come to the conclusion "loves me". Bless him.

There seemed to be a bit of an issue between Bernadette and Felix today. From what I heard, Felix tried to flirt with Bernadette, and right in front of Gabriel no less. She rejected him.

Again, I was sure that we were all hungry, so I made sure to cook early dinner for us. Evening was coming, and surely that would mean more ghosts.

After eating, I headed out to the garden, as the tomatoes needed me.

When I heard howls, I checked my watch, out of habit. Yes, it was eight o'clock again.

Three ghosts out and about tonight. Better be careful.

It's a good thing I already did my gardening, as one of the ghosts spent a lot of time floating in the garden.

From the screams I could tell that he caught Felix in the front yard. Fortunately Felix was alright.

I noticed Bernadette was snacking from the fridge, which told me that it was time to cook again.

I did, and it seemed that especially Bernadette appreciated the mac and cheese.

The previous flirting incident did not seem to have an adverse effect on Bernadette and Felix' terms, as I spotted them happily sharing gossip about Daisy. What was maybe not so smart was doing that with Daisy in the room with them.

I had a bit of time before bed, so I decided to spend that cooking a bit in advance and store the food in the fridge. You never know when that comes handy at a busy time.

After that, I was spent for the day and headed upstairs for a hopefully good night's rest.

It seems that the night after I went to bed was rather uneventful, mostly consisting of the usual activities. Such as hanging out in the bathroom and playing catch in the yard. And of course, being knocked out from lack of sunlight.

Also the werewolves of the house spent some time bonding.

It was their howls that woke me up like clockwork. We'd made it through another night at the asylum.

That's it for day 7! Thanks for reading, and until next time, happy simming!
