Ugh, I hate the way that a birthday can tank a Headmaster score like that. It's happened to me before. And it's always with a crabby Headmaster who hates to Schmooze. In that instance, instead of Schmooze, just Chat, or Macro... Socialize... Friendly if you have Macrotastics. They'll be less likely to refuse and it'll still count towards the score.
