Never a dull day with the Daniels! Although it was mostly Daniel F. that was super busy and Daniel P. took care of the being pregnant part. ;)
And definitely Daniel F.'s LTW contributed to the busy busy week. It does go pretty well together with running a business, that's a good way to meet and socialize with new sims. Doing it without a matchmaker could otherwise be pretty painful I think.
Thanks! The buffet does get money for each portion that the sims eat, but not terribly much, and the food can't be actively sold - the customers will just grab a plate when they're hungry. And the price can't be adjusted either, it is what it is (I think 15 simoleans for salad and gelatin and 30 for turkey). So that's why I started selling tickets. In the end, tickets were "expensive", meaning 10 simoleans per hour, so it never really became profitable. I could have of course inflated the price and the sims would have paid it, but somehow I didn't want to. My original plan was to make money on the food, and the tickets were just a backup plan, and it would have felt a little cheaty in this particular challenge. Oh well, I hope the next one will be more profitable.
Hmm yeah, the baby items are originally by Maxis, I think bonus/store items of some kind. I've got modified versions, but have a hard time remembering what they were... I think I have the ones by Honeywell, on MTS. I think they're pretty cute. :)
I got to start on playing Brandi a little bit yesterday, and so far she and her challenge are a lot of fun!
