Lakewood BaCC: Week 4, Part 4

After a long break, here's a Lakewood update for you! It's the Fortunato Pure Entrepreneur challenge, and a lot is going on. I hope you enjoy the update, and as always, if you wish to comment, comments are welcome anywhere!

Yay, an update!

Gee, so many redheads! I suppose with two redheaded parents, that's not exactly a surprise. (I like redheaded sims. Don't ask me why.)

Whoopee, a burglar! Were you allowed to have a car alarm before the third burglar visit, or is that a new perk too?

How many dates does Daniel F need for his LTW? 50? That's going to take forEVer...

Do custom paintings restock correctly, sad clowns with sad clowns and so on? Or will it just restock with random paintings so you could end up with three sad clowns side by side? (The prospect of that is terrifying...)

Wow, that's... some hair the headmaster has! O_O

I was just prepared to be really impressed with Daniel F for scoring on a first date with a straight guy. But then it wasn't him. :P

Boy, Consort is not a customer you want around, is he?

Reina and Donte are indeed a cute couple. I approve.

Hooray, finally an update!

Yeah, with all redhead parents red-haired kids are to be expected. I like sims with red hair too. :)

I already thought the third burglar visit would never come, but now it did, which is awesome! I would eventually have unlocked the alarms by having Regan reach the top of Criminal, but this was faster in the end. Car alarms were restricted by the same rule, so those are new too. :)

Yeah, it's 50 first dates, and it really does take forever. It's tedious enough with the matchmaker available, but without one (services get unlocked at population 500), it's even more work. I normally do this LTW by inviting the matchmaker over and starting and ending several dates in a row. Now since that's not allowed, I'm doing something different by letting the dates run their course, but yeah, it's a lot more work this way.

I don't know about the paintings actually, I'm still making a nice stock for Daniel P. so that the customers won't immediately buy all the custom ones out. I'd assume they'll restock with random ones from the stock, at least when I put them in the inventory they all sit in the same stack. I'll probably only display one at a time, to make them sell out a little slower and also to avoid clown invasion. :D

The headmaster's hair is pretty hilarious, as is the fact that he inhales his food and fingerguns. :D

Heh, gotcha. :P There's often action in the photo booth, as that's currently I think just about the only possibility for sims not from the current household to have woohoo.

Consort is definitely a grump. Sometimes he plays nice, but yeah, a lot of the time I'm having to ask him to leave before he upsets the other customers too much. "Dammit, Consort!" seems to have become some kind of a signature phrase for the BaCC. :D

They're pretty cute. :) I don't know yet if they'll stay together when they grow up, but it'd be kind of nice to join two playable families like this. We'll see.
