Ginormous wedding is ginormous. Also, halp?
Alright, so I thought I'd start shooting on the epic wedding of Chris and Cyrus, and I did. My first observation was that no, shooting a wedding that's supposed to have basically the whole town invited in the method of having the whole town present is no longer feasible. Go figure. I'd show you a picture but apparently my machine was so stuck that Gadwin didn't even get one. Pity, the whole extended family crammed into Chris and Cyrus' tiny house was quite a sight.
Well, have a non-spoilery picture instead:

Turned out pretty nice, even if I say so myself. But this is only the beginning...
Anyway, I also ran into a problem and was wondering if you'd happen to know of a solution. You see, Alphabetia is sort of stuffed with pregnant ladies at the moment. And that's great, I'm sizzling with joy when I think about all the babieeez. But I'd need them to show at the wedding, in their pregnant state. Maxmotives keeps them from starving, peeing themselves and falling asleep when I shoot, but their outfits seem to be a problem. I have Lea's default replacement pregnancy formal dresses, and that's what they've been wearing when I've invited them for the various weddings going around.
But now, when I summoned the first of them for the photoshoot, and used the Sim Blender to change everyone into formalwear, this is what I saw:

So Margaret there is wearing her non-pregnant formalwear, which looks pregnant because it happens to have a pregmorph. Unfortunately, it also happens to be her wedding dress. Which I can't change her out of, because she's pregnant. Gah. I tried with a different pregnant sim, and the same thing happened.
Well, if I hadn't been stupid enough to forget the brides in their wedding dresses and then get them pregnant, I wouldn't have this problem in the first place, but I was. (Of course, it might still be that some of their non-wedding formal outfits would have no pregmorph, which would suck because then they wouldn't look pregnant.) I first thought I would say they're "too pregnant" to come, but then I realized I really can't leave some of them out for plot reasons, plus really, the pregnant ladies probably make more than half of the female population of Alphabetia currently.
Would anyone happen to have an idea how to go around this? If so, it'd be much appreciated. Thanks!
Edit: Hmm. If nothing better comes along, I might put Squinge's pregnancy outfit mod back in for a moment - that should probably let me plan formal outfits of pregnant sims, so I can get them to wear something more reasonable one by one. It's a fairly tedious method and the mod will probably cause two mood resets, one when I put it in and another when I take it out again, but I suppose if I have to then I have to.

As far as the dresses go I would just use a hack for pregnancy clothing.

I used to have Squinge's Wear Anything While Pregnant permanently and I liked the idea, but got irritated over the fact that because most of my cc doesn't have pregmorphs anyway, there was a lot of extra work finding outfits for sims - first a regular outfit, and then one that would have the morph (and in the worst case, repeat for each clothing category). So I took out the mod and have used just pregnancy defaults since then. Which was a lot less fuss, until I have to do a staged wedding, apparently. Oh well, I went ahead and used the mod so I could get the clothing changed, so at least for now I should be all set. I think. :)
Come to think of it, maybe the least fuss in the long run would be to keep the mod in and still keep the defaults for ease. Hmm...
