Winter picspam, part 1
Alright. So after the BTS, the next thing on my to-do would be to catch up on picspam. I'm more than halfway through the rotation, since I was able to play forward while I wrote the update, so I've got a bit of a backlog on that. I figured I'd skip the rest of the autumn picspam I started on, since that's really covered in the chapter anyway. So now onto new, uncovered events. I'll now try to comment somewhat less than earlier, because otherwise I'd spend the rest of the evening typing, and I do want to do some playing today, too. :)
The Phillips household
Author + Count Curtis -> Aurora + Andrew -> Bobby + Mehrissa -> Camilla, Callie
Okay, so. We start with the Phillips household. The elders are Aurora and Andrew, the adults are their son Bobby and his wife Mehrissa, and in the beginning of the rotation, they have one daughter, Camilla, who's an infant. Mehrissa is also pregnant.
Oh, and they also have a cat, named Billy I believe. (I'm still terrible with pets.)
Mehrissa found out she was pregnant again on Camilla's birthday.
Here's Camilla as a toddler as you might guess. She's a 9/2/9/8/1 Scorpio.
Bobby found Billy singing along to the stereo pretty amusing.
And I suppose he would be right about that.
Camilla post-makeover. She grew up in a tux, so I thought maybe she wouldn't want to be dressed like a girly girl.
Bobby topped the business career and made his LTW. He now wants to have 6 grandchildren (family secondary). At the rate he and Mehrissa are producing kids, that might just happen. But we'll see.
Aurora and Andrew are getting pretty old. They are the second to last surviving members of gen. A (Aadam and Joy will be the last, of course) if you don't count Adson and Rebecca, who are immortal because Rebecca is a zombie. I gave both Aurora and Andrew one more shot of elixir because I wanted to make sure they had time to take at least their oldest grandchild, Camilla, to a grandparent vacation. I think I'll probably be losing them in the spring.
We had a bit of a party, some friends and relatives (for the most part they are the same thing) were over.
This is quite possibly the cutest thing ever. Camilla got tired during the party, and when no one was available to promptly put her in her crib, she crawled to sleep in Billy's pet bed. Aww. <3
Of course, Mehrissa went into labor in the middle of the party. How else?
I don't think you're supposed to be seeing this, Camilla, but all the adults are too distracted to be carrying you away. Well on the other hand, there's not much to see, a little twirling perhaps.
And so, Camilla got a little sister. She was named Callie.
Time for Camilla to grow up again!
And here she is post makeover. Still a cutie, and I still went with the slightly less girly style. Got a pink sweater, though. With a horse.
Bobby and Mehrissa promptly got at it again.
Not sure what Billy thinks he's up to here, but it did look silly.
And then, Aurora and Andrew got their grandparent vacation, since I didn't want to take any risks. It would have been nice to take all the grandkids, but it'll take a while until the rest grow up and A & A might not live that long. Plus who knows how long Bobby and Mehrissa keep having more kids. Anyway, Twikkii Island was a tried and tested location.
Aurora didn't have a place to sit in the hotel room, so she brought her cereal to the restaurant, and this vacation dormie kept stealing it. And I kept having Aurora steal it back. :P
All I could think about there was "ow". Had to giggle a bit, though.
That grilled cheese sandwich is almost a generation old. Adrian made sandwiches on the secret lot when he and Nicole went on their grandparent vacation with Cho, Cyrus and Charlie. He put the leftovers to the fridge. And his sister came to her own grandparent vacation now, and ate the last one. :)
Towards the end of the rotation, we found Mehrissa pregnant with a third child.
The Riley household
Author + Count Curtis -> Adrian + Pollination Technician -> Bill + Ira -> Claire + Trevor -> Dory
So next up are the Rileys. In the beginning of the rotation we have the elders Bill and Ira, their adopted daughter Claire and her husband Trevor.
Hey guys, flowers are nice and all, but I think the kids would like a bit of privacy there.
And that bit of privacy seemed to help. Claire and Trevor tried for a baby all of last rotation with no luck, but now they got pregnant on the first try.
Warlocks are still cool.
Aadam and Rebecca randomly invited themselves in at the same time. They're still besties, so I suppose they had some catching up to do.
That had me giggling a little. :)
Trevor wants to become a Mad Scientist, so that's what he's working on.
He also likes to stargaze.
Meet Dory, Claire and Trevor's firstborn daughter. (That name just popped into my head when thinking of a girl name beginning with D, and when I googled it to see if it was an actual name and saw the blue silly fish from Finding Nemo pop up, I just had to use it for the baby.)
Whoops. As I said, Trevor likes to stargaze. A bit too much, perhaps.
And apparently they've decided that they like babies too, since they tried and succeeded again. I thought they might not since Claire is a romancer - but I'm not complaining!
Birthday time for Dory! She's a 3/4/10/10/7 Sagittarius.

The Thayer household
Author + Count Curtis -> Arthur + Meadow -> Bonnie + Thomas -> Clyde + Margaret -> Donovan
The final household of today's picspam is the Thayers. The elders are Bonnie and Thomas, and the young couple are their son Clyde and his wife Margaret. Margaret is already pregnant at the beginning of the rotation. And Bruce Bigfoot also lives with this family, and they have a dog, Spot.
Bruce is still a lot of fun. :)
Spot gets on my nerves on occasion. He's so aggressive that all the training in the world will not make him play nice. He keeps scaring Wally the Womrat. After the baby was born and I built a nursery, I moved Wally's cage into the nursery and locked the door from pets. At least now poor Wally should have some peace.
Meet Donovan, Clyde and Margaret's firstborn son. Donovan is a third cousin to the main line generation D.
Margaret is in the Medical field and Clyde in Criminal, both working towards their respective LTWs.
Margaret wanted to learn to make Grandma's Comfort soup, which I took as a signal that she wanted a family secondary. Which I then gave her.
She's not the first family sim around, either. Bonnie is family/Popularity and Thomas is Pleasure/Family.
Bruce became The Law and Permaplat. Now he wants to be an Idol, which he can't get because he has no college education. But I suppose that shows that the hack that should unlock college career LTWs works. I'd been wondering about that since none of my sims were previously rolling those careers.
Clyde zones about Music & Dance. I'd never noticed before that there's a sound effect for that if you go close enough (and I don't mean the horn honk thing you can heare to the opposite side of the lot :P ). Now I should watch my other sims and listen if it's the same one for all hobbies or different.

Sunny dropped off a magic lamp. She's been doing that a lot this rotation. I thought it was supposed to be for someone who has high lifetime aspiration, but almost always when I get it it's for a toddler. Once I got it for a baby. So dunno what's up with that.
Andddd... Another baby on the way for Clyde and Margaret too.
Some visitors over. As you can again see, I'm not kidding about having lots of pregnant ladies in the 'hood.
And some of the of course don't have the sense to keep themselves inside where it's warm.
Adorable Donovan is adorable.
Alright, now I've done three houses, so catching up a little bit. Now back to playing and growing the backlog again!
