Lakewood: Just a BaCC, Week 1, Part 2

It's been a while since I've updated this fast, hasn't it? Well, I suppose that may change when the challenge moves forward, but for now, I'm enjoying it while I can. Without further ado: Week 1, Part 2!

As always, comments are welcome here, there, anywhere! (This even has a Boolprop thread for those so inclined. I'll probably post my other challenges there again, too, when I have the time and motivation.)

Quick comment, as I have to go to work (boo!) but I'm really enjoying your BaCC - you're making me want to try one!

Reagan and Jenny make a cute couple, and I look forward to seeing the kids!

What do you have planned for Pascal - I'm curious! :D

Great work, and it looks like you're having fun, too!

Work tends to interfere with hobbies, damn it. ;) Thank you, I'm glad you're enjoying it! I'm definitely enjoying playing it, too!

I like Regan and Jenny together, even though their chemistry isn't that great. But chemistry can be worked with, at least once someone starts selling potions in Lakewood. I'm looking forward to kids too. :)

As for Pascal... Well, if you really wanna know, then here be spoilers:

He'll be founding an OWBC.

Thank you! ^^

That was quite the productive week for Regan with the gardening and her grocery store. Looks like Jenny will be a good mate for her.
Whew, glad Pascal finally got up the nerve to become a Lakewood resident, I was beginning to wonder!

I really like your idea of making the premades into townies, they're fun and interesting to watch.

Yeah, I'm pretty happy with Regan's first week. I would have liked to get her and Jenny married too, but well, you can't do everything in one week. I do like them together, I think they'll be a good match even though their chemistry isn't that great. Fortunately chemistry isn't everything in this game.

Pascal was a bit of work, I basically had to start over when convincing him to move in, because Regan didn't know him all too well at first. I think he must be pretty shy, both Lizzie and Regan were best friends with him by the time I tried to move him in and he refused. But in the end it paid off and I'm already looking forward to playing him. :)

Thank you, I'm really enjoying that aspect myself! And thank you again for reading and commenting! ^^

This was a fun chapter! I'm glad you got Pascal moved in, and I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with him next time. Congratulations on having a successful grocery store, and pn making such god progress on your BACC!

Out of curiosity, what is Jenny's predestined hobby?

I think you came up with a fair solution for the loan and the taxes.

Keep up the good work! :)

Thank you, Esme! Pascal was a bit of work but it did pay off in the end and I'm looking forward to playing him. I'm pretty happy with my progress so far, not bad for a first week. :)

Hmm, I'm not entirely sure, but somehow I have a vague recollection that Jenny's OTH may have been Tinkering. I think she may have dreamt about it during the week or something.

I'm pretty happy with the loan solution myself. The whole loan thing has been a fun experiment, and I wanted to be fair to Regan. I don't think it'll have a long time influence on her and Jenny's finances, probably they'll be able to pay it off next week.

Thank you, and thank you for reading and commenting! :)
