Summer picspam, part 2
So it was some time ago that I posted the first part of my summer picspam. The summer rotation has now been done with for a while, so I suppose it's about time I posted MOAR picspam. I've lately been playing college, and it has been a blast, but that's again something for another time.
The next in line after the Patches were the Thayer/Fairchild houshold.

There, it was time for little Cliff's birthday. He's one of the three youngest of the generation.

He grew up quite nicely, rolled knowledge. Here he is with his teen makeover. I had to change the hair later, as his childhood hair went all odd-looking and see-through at some point. And wouldn't go back to normal even after I relaunched the game later. Oh well, odd things happen.

Cliff had his cousin buddies over that day, too. That's Christa, the youngest of the Custer girls.

Though they mainly socialized with each other in the back yard. The little guy in orange is Connor, Carla Patch's little brother. Oh yeah, and the janitor very much liked their cat.

Christa left promptly at six, but the cake lured Connor to stay and cheer, though he didn't stay long enough to actually eat the cake.

Also some older relatives visited. I wanted Bill's siblings to get to know Sandy better.

Not all topics of discussion were entirely appropriate. But who could disagree with Sandy there?

Soonish afterwards we also had another, less invited visitor.

I first thought that the burglar tried to steal the bed while my sims were still sleeping in it, and that was a slightly worrying thought. But actually they had a painting on the wall and I'd forgotten about it.

But Dorian Kauker saved the day.

I also sent the family on Twikkii for a vacation after Cliff had grown up, since Sandy wanted to. A good and relaxing time was had by all.

Well, not necessarily by all. But the family at least.

And I got a laugh out of this. (And that's what you get for getting young ladies in trouble, mr. Jim, or whoever your name in my game is! Young ladies will kick your butt!)

The vacation was not greatly disturbed by this incident.

I think they all enjoyed some quiet family time.

Back at home, Cliff introduced his family Whitney. He'd met her while shopping for his new teen clothes, and they hit it off instantly.

With two bolts off the bat, scoring the first kiss was easy.

It's funny how even the pets have personalities. Marsha and Bailey's cat for instance, loves to sing to the stereo. Bill and Sandy's on the other hand, seems to alternate between watching the fish (just peacefully sitting and watching them, it doesn't seem to attempt to eat them) and meowing at its own reflection. It makes me giggle - I guess I'm easily entertained.
Next up, the Custers!

Also in the Custer household, it was time for a birthday, Christa's. Connor Patch is the last of gen. C to remain a child, and he, too, will transition right in the beginning of next rotation.

Christa, too, grew up nicely.

And she, like her oldest sister Corinna, has babies in the head. So family sim, and she even has the same LTW as Corinna, become Education Minister. (Though Corinna's wasn't originally that, she used to want to raise 20 puppies and kitties, to which I said NO.)

Also, I had my very first batch of puppies in this house.

Lulu had three puppies, out of which I kept one and gave the rest up for adoption.

The fuss about the house was the usual. Always someone visiting. In this case Beth, who adored the doggies.

And not just the littlest ones.

Chloe and Calista were closing in on college, and hadn't had their first kisses, so I gave them each a matchmaker date.

Chloe here surprised me. She got Cho's old boyfriend, pleasure sim Luc Todd. I thought they wouldn't even get along. But they had one bolt, and that seemed to be enough.

Knowledge sim Chloe scored the first kiss like as the second interaction. Wouln't have thought that.

Luc apparently liked the date, he brought a plant.

But Chloe wasn't the only one to surprise me that night. Calista got this cashier, with whom she had two bolts. I thought this would be a piece of cake. Nope. He kept on heart farting her, but they'd only do friendly interactions and I even had to drag them off the instruments a few times.

I even made them flirt once, to help, but they remained clueless.

Calista did get her first kiss, though, as the "this was a fun date" end of the date kiss.

Then the cashier seemed to get it. "Oh hey, this was fun!"

While the girls were busy with their dates, their guests kept themselves entertained.

Shy sim flirting yay!

The maid, too, kept herself entertained. Dunno how, but she seemed to see herself as a guest.

Soon after that, it was time for Chloe and Calista to head for college. Barry and Laura seemed to be happy to have the house to themselves.
Last but not least, the Mendozas! They, too, were having a birthday celebration.

This one was Joy's.

The family was over as usual.

Joy may not have been perfectly happy with her makeover, but too bad. I have the pie menu. I think she's being silly, she looks pretty to me.

The party Aadam threw for her was a success, how else.

Even Marsha and Aurora came along, which they have not always done, thanks to Marsha's excess of nice points and need to admire everything that moves.

Beatrice bonded with her uncle Adson. Maybe she wanted tips on the romancing.

As for Adson, well, he's still Adson. And he and Rebecca are still cute.

And then there's Benny the dog. He loves him some doggie activities. And attention. Who doesn't love attention?

The girls didn't have long left as teens, so they spent their remaining time well - together. They'll be living together in college, too, but they've always been quite tight.

Aadam and Joy only got a partial rotation, as it was time for the girls to go to college. Goodbyes were said and the girls headed for their new lives as young adults.
Phew. I think that's about it for the rest of the rotation. Fun has been had again, and college means even more fun. I'll need to share pics some other time, promise. =)
