Post 29 picspam and other stuff
Lots has been happening lately. First of all, I found out what was wrong with my pictures in my updates, and that would have been my reading comprehension. When Doc said "lossless compression" she must have meant lossless compression. In other words, I found out that I had a jpg compression on when making my pdfs in Impress, and once I turned that off and reuploaded, the result looked much better. This means I've been re-making pdfs and re-uploading them to Dreamwidth. Luckily that wasn't as big of a project as converting the chapters in the first place. So now I have nicer looking chapters, yay!
Second of all, I finished my main hood mini-rotation, and sent the final three teens of the generation, Connor, Cliff and Christa, to college. Hooray! I've given them makeovers and updated the cast list. That should be the final version, at this point I'd be very, very surprised if someone threw me a pregnancy. The gen. Bs should be too old for that at this point I believe.
Third of all, I thought that now that the chapter's done with, we could use some picspam too. So here you go, have a rather random picspam!
Let's start with some slightly spoilery Sal stuff. I've been waiting to post these for a while.

So yeah, Sal is indeed an evil warlock now. I had him ask Lauren to turn him into one, and as they were such good buddies, she happily obliged.

I thought this outfit looked kinda nice on him, but it would have spilled the beans early, plus he'd just had a makeover, so I had him go incognito and put back his regular clothes.

I also needed to work a bit to stop him from making green bubbles all the same - luckily turning his alignment into slightly less evil did the trick. I had fun playing around with my first warlock. =)

In the process, I also finally got Sal permaplat. He's been such a good little villain that he totally deserved that. I've forgotten what he wants now that he's a Criminal Mastermind, but he'll probably get that at some point too. Just because I love him. <3 But, not right now, we've got other things at hand. Besides, what's cooler than a vampire, evil warlock, Criminal Mastermind? Not many things.

After getting these things accomplished, it was time to shoot. It was rather cool to watch Sal and Lauren wave their wands in unison.
Sal getting the laughing attack was really a funny accident. I had him cast a cleaning spell on himself, and apparently he found that the joke of the year. And I of course turned that into a good old maniac laughter. I really had to resist the "mwahahahaha" when writing that! (It's implicitly there, of course.)

This one I'm pretty proud of, althought the trick was quite simple. I had Lauren do the magical teleportation, and just when she'd disappeared but left the magic glistening behind, I paused and put the bone phone there with move_objects on. Instant glistening bone phone, ta-taa! I did the same with the chair, but with the bone phone the glistening was better. Which suits nicely, as Sal's learned something about magic in between.

There's one great thing about being an evil warlock. I can finally get a proper evil cackle out of my villain! Four nice points is clearly too much, as whenever I need him to look evil and intimidating, he just tends to smile this really cute smile.
In other news, there's been pretty regular stuff going on. Such as being on the phone and maintaining ACR tokens. And there's apparently been a small reset, I suspect because I installed Squinge's hack that lets pregnant sims wear anything. So lots of beds have looked a bit funny when I entered houses, but luckily could be fixed by cuddling and woohooing on said beds, and my sims have been happy to oblige. Like Bill and Ira here.

Ira, I don't think your husband quite appreciates that topic right now.

Bill and Ira also worked Bill's fourth business to level six, and got into the garden club. No wishing well, though.

This has also been happening some, since the reset. Sims have found themselves wandering about their house naked, since they were sleeping after ACR woohoo when the reset hit. To the shower with you, Sean! I'm sure Beth appreciates, but you can't invite guests like that!

Gardening has also been up, with varying success. Beth and Sean have been doing quite nicely in that respect, but in some houses we've had trouble even keeping the plants alive.

Obligatory "aww" picture of Beth and Sean!

Beth's buddy Marsha has been taking care of Cissy's cat while she's away. Clearly she doesn't mind doing that.

And Bailey got the pottery wheel that he wanted. He was quite happy to get something new to skill with.

The Patches got a full rotation, since their secondborn, Connor, was still at home. No, Remington, Bianca and Ramin do not need your company in the tub right now m'kay?

Bianca topped Law Enforcement, and became permaplat. Again.

Gardening is up here, too. Though this is one of the households where keeping the plants alive has been rather painful in itself.

Their dog, Jake, is turning out to be a little bit of an airhead. Last rotation, he went and got himself sprayed on by a skunk, and what does he do this time? Yeah, he picks a fight against the wolf pack leader. Really smart move there, Jake.

Someone else didn't have any problem whatsoever with the pack leader. In fact, Connor rolled the want to become a werewolf. With the social glasses, he managed to make friends with Balin, but after that the wolf left, and didn't show up again before I decided to send Connor to college. We'll see if he gets lucky later on.

In other respects, Connor's luck has been just fine. We'll see if he winds up wanting Ivy to go to college. If he does, I might just indulge him. They're simply so sweet.

Next door, Cliff has also been quite cute with his girlfriend.

Although not always quite so cute.

If it's a competition for cuteness, at least Bill and Sandy here don't noogie. They might not be totally monogamous, but they're pretty tight nevertheless. And they like it like that.

Barry and Laura next door have a far more traditional deal. Perhaps not quite as exciting, but way cute.

Barry was another one who topped a career this time around, Education. He's one of the last gen. B's who's not permaplat yet, as his LTW is to graduate three kids from college. I'm working on it, but there's still a rather long way to go until Corinna and the twins are done.

Christa, the fourth Custer girl, has been enjoying her teen years at home still. She, like Connor, could still have stayed for about another rotation, but as Cliff was ready to go, I decided to send the three of them together, as they're so good buddies and all. And I didn't want to spread the generation any more than it already is.

Christa, too, sometimes has trouble with how to deal with these boyfriends and such. They all like noogies, right? This is Benjamin, by the way, one of the two Benjamin's Christa has been seeing.

Balin also paid us a visit, here where he isn't needed to nibble anyone. If I'm ever wondering why the dog food bowls are always empty, well, here's my answer I guess.
Not much to report from Aadam and Joy this time around, so I'll just end the picspam with a final note to self:

Must. Marry. In. Sheldon. Handby. That is all.
So, that's all for my picspam this time. Next up for the Bookacies is another college rotation, starting with the Greek House. If I'm not mistaken, Cyrus will be graduating this rotation, as will Bobby. Yay! But before that, I need to do some plotting and planning...
