Thanks! It's been some work this time around to keep them in line for some reason. Next time around, I think I should try to avoid putting friends with high boltage in the same dorm, unless I'm planning to get them together. Clearly friends zone, as great as it is, isn't enough to prevent all mishaps.
Apparently even my sims DO flirt base game flirts with one another, although I've rarely seen that before. Maybe they haven't been as outgoing before, or maybe I've managed to keep them on a tighter leach. Anyway, thanks for the tip - that should be useful if I want to break the accidental couples up!
