Weekly simming 48/2017
Dec. 3rd, 2017 10:38 pmGah. I was planning to play/write today, but a Windows update decided it would not install on my simming machine, so said machine spent my simming time trying to install it, in vain. Obviously it had to be some huge update that takes hours to crunch, only to fail in the very end. I tried several times, using tips I found from the web, but nothing worked. In the end I gave up at least for now. The machine works, so maybe I'll just forget about it and see if it works later. Of course, that might mean that the machine wants to try again at the most inconvenient time possible. Oh well.
So no new progress there, unfortunately. I've been working on that little TS4-related project that I took on, also today on my laptop while waiting for the big machine to fail at updating. It's a fun thing to do, and I'm making progress there, although I'm seeing that it's of course more work than I
initially thought. Basically my only complaint with it is that it resembles what I currently do for a living a little too much to do all weekend. Which *cough* may or may not be more or less what happened.
Next week I think X-Mas preparations will take some of my time, but maybe I'll have better luck with machines at least. We'll see.
