Okay, so, I believe I sort of promised some picspam from my rotation. Now, you shall receive, and receive a LOT. This picspam covers four houses: the Phillips, the Rileys, the Thayers and the Bruenigs, and altogether it has some 200+ pictures. Technically, the Camerons should be between the Thayers and the Bruenigs in rotation, but I've skipped playing them for now, as I'm not yet sure if I want to do some merging of households there this rotation.

Apparently, I even need to split the intended first part into two parts. So here's the first part, with 100+ pictures. But, here we go:

The Phillips household

Author + Count Curtis -> Aurora + Andrew -> Bobby + Mehrissa (-> Camilla)

Photobucket
Alright, first up are the Phillips. Bobby, who's among the youngest of the gen. B cousins (went to college with gen. C) just recently moved back into his childhood home with his high-school sweetheart and fiancée Mehrissa. Apparently, despite being a fortune/knowledge couple, the two of them couldn't wait to get on with the next generation. This was my second risky of the bunch, Chip and Sunny were the first.

Photobucket
Pregnant or not, it was time for a long-awaited wedding. I'd been waiting long, and so had no doubt Aurora and Andrew, who themselves got started so late that they're lucky to be meeting their grandkids at all. Anyway, lots of relatives on the guest list, and of course someone always has to show up in their wedding gown, right? It's a sim wedding, after all. This one's Corinna Custer, who's clearly eager to get married, too.

Anyway, here's some party spam:

Aurora and Andrew were in a hurry to get seats before anyone else does. Or maybe it was me making them sit down so that at least the parents would be there for the ceremony. You know, because give them a stereo, and no one will care about such small things as wedding wovs.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket
As I said, no one will care. Corinna, do you mind? You're sort of getting in my pictures when I try to get some nice audience pictures. Not that there is much of an audience or anything. Just the principle of the thing, you know.

Photobucket
The men of the Patch household, for instance, prefer dancing over ceremonies.

Photobucket
Chip here might almost make it if he hurries a bit.

Photobucket
Aww, I've missed weddings...! (And surely I'll have had enough for a while after the rotation is over...)

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket
See? Some of the guests actually made it for the wovs.

Photobucket
Cuteness ahoy! These two clearly knew they wanted to have each other early on. They were sweethearts in high-school, and when I gave in and sent Mehrissa for him and dumped them in a dorm with the Mendoza girls, they were in love again before the twins had their rooms picked.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket
I sort of knew Bobby wouldn't be a cake shover. He's too nice.

Photobucket
"I want to get some cake!"
"No, I want to get some cake!"

Photobucket
Cake was had, and "interesting" topics were discussed.

Photobucket

Photobucket
In a family of four neat freaks, how does a wedding party end? Like this.

Photobucket
So, life goes on after the wedding. I had Andrew retire, since he'd used up his vacation days and I figured as a Pleasure sim he wouldn't want to cling onto work for any longer. And surely they could afford it, he and Aurora were wealthy to begin with, and with Bobby and Mehrissas money from college I could easily expand the house. (If you have a good memory, you might have noticed it used to look different. I kept the blue, though.) And gosh did it need to be expanded! A lot of the houses do, actually, and I'm going about it as I play the rotation.

Photobucket
Mehrissa would like you to know that she is indeed pregnant.

Photobucket
This was THE major hardship of the rotation in this house. The sandwich turned bad after I ordered Aurora to eat it, and wasn't fast enough to cancel it before she started. With the first bite, she caught food poisoning. Great. Now there were two women throwing up in the house. Not that the men had anything better to do than to clean the toilets.

Well, on the other hand, it's a first. I've played the game for I don't know how many years, and still I'd never had a sim have food poisoning before. (Not that it's something I'd particularly try to achieve, though.) I was a little freaked out, but in the end Aurora was just fine.

Photobucket
Marylena popped by. She seemed to enjoy talking to Bobby about the ongoing engagement and wedding palooza. And she seems to have enjoyed the pool, too.

Photobucket
This doesn't look like much fun, though.

The Phillips are I think the first household where I've placed spiral stairs myself. I love how they look, but it bugs me that even when in a hurry, the sim will walk on them. Very slowly. (Of course, you can't really run full speed on spiral stairs in real life, either, but...)

Photobucket
Marylena also made herself useful. I don't know how there could possibly be a dirty cat bed in this very household, but apparently there was.

Photobucket
Random cuteness time! I never get tired of taking pics of this animation.

Photobucket
Andrew and Aurora kept on working in the garden, and apparently it paid off.

Photobucket
The owner of the cat bed (Billie, I think? I'm terrible with the pets' names.)

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket
After some usual going ons, it was time for Mehrissa to give birth. It's not technically a generation D baby, but I'm still excited.

Photobucket
Have a random Sean who happened to be in the house and promptly came to panic.

Photobucket

Photobucket
Worry not, he wasn't the only one.

Photobucket
"Look, it's a baby!"
Indeed, Mehrissa, it is.

Photobucket
Here she is, then, a little baby girl whom we named Camilla. Skin and eyes come from both parents, and the brown hair comes from Aurora.

Photobucket
Bobby is in a bit of shock right at the moment.

Photobucket
But, he was pleased nevertheless.

Photobucket
Sean was kind and harvested our money tree for us.

Photobucket
It's been so long since I played this house that my memory fails me. But what I think is going on is that one or both of the elders wanted a party, so I gave them an anniversary one. Neither of them is Family in any aspiration, so it can't have been an LTW thing, so I suppose it was a whim from me.

Photobucket

Photobucket
Anyway, just another excuse to invite some buddies over and have a good time!

PhotobucketAnd, being the speedy couple they are Bobby and Mehrissa managed to get cracking on a second kid before the rotation ended. For a Fortune/Knowledge couple, they sure are into kids. Well, I don't mind babies. :)

The Riley household

Author + Count Curtis -> Adrian + Nicole -> Bill + Ira -> Claire + Trevor

Photobucket
So, in the next house we have Bill and Ira, whom I think you'll remember, their adopted daughter Claire whom you may also remember as she went to college with Cho (here raking the leaves), and her boyfriend Trevor.

Photobucket
It might be that you haven't yet seen Bill and Ira as elders, as I was unable to share birthday pics because there was a spoiler I needed to avoid. In any case, here's Bill, trying out the Artist career camera. Only recently I've paid attention to it, and only later that this did I figure out that you can grab the photos with the hand tool and put them on a wall.

Photobucket
And here they are with Ira, cute as ever. The hat didn't seem to suit an old man very well, all maybe it was the rest of his outfit, so it had to go. Sorry, Ira, I loved the hat too!

Photobucket
Claire loves her some solitaire Don't wake the llama.

Photobucket
Trevor, who I always thought was Popularity for some reason, was in fact, Knowledge, so he likes himself a Scientific job, thank you very much.

Photobucket
And Claire, who's had since childhood to skill build, needs to go to work like a whopping one time and she tops Slacker. And becomes permaplat, too. (A lot of my born-in-game sims go permaplat before they get their LTW thanks to the lifetime aspiration meter, anyway.)

Photobucket

Photobucket
Well, since these two have been so tight since college, and despite being a romance sim Claire hasn't really paid attention to other guys, I figured they'd want to tie the knot. And I, of course, wanted to do it.

Photobucket

Photobucket
I hear no complaints, there.

Photobucket
So, soon enough it's wedding time. Claire, I don't think that dress is meant for that exactly. Although, it does look sort of impressive.

PhotobucketClaire's best friend is of course there to congratulate her.

Then, on with the general wedding spam:

The parents were of course very proud.

Photobucket
Both of them. And some of the guests were confused on the direction in which the wedding was taking place.

Photobucket

Photobucket
Wedding party success!

Photobucket
Because Trevor wanted a Far East vacation, he and Claire got a honeymoon.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket
Which was very nice and relaxing.

Photobucket
For the most part anyway.

Photobucket

Photobucket
Fancy restaurant dinners were had, and fine wedding parties were fondly remembered.

PhotobucketAnd woohoo was had as well. They did try for a baby several times during the honeymoon, but with no luck.

Photobucket

Photobucket
Trevor did get lucky with the shrine, though, whatever it may mean.

Photobucket
The local meeting was perfected.

Photobucket
And a good thing it was, because that skill was needed.

Photobucket

Photobucket
It's supposed to be the bowing, but I'm not sure what it is that triggers the Dragon Legend. Maybe it's relationship points + bowing or something? Because it's always taken me some time before I get the legend. In any case, Claire and Trevor learned it.

Photobucket

Photobucket
And enjoyed it.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket
With some pretty hard trying, I managed to catch the Ninja for Trevor before he disappeared. (At least once he poofed right in front of my nose, and after that it was hard to get him to show up.)

Photobucket
Meanwhile, poor Claire wasn't as lucky with the shrine.

Photobucket
But, there was one happy camper who now knew how to teleport.

Photobucket
Otherwise the vacation was just great, but even by the end of it, no lullaby. I think it's Claire. She just likes to try. And by the way, now that the two of them live under the same roof and are constantly available to each other, I've come to notice that Claire has the shortest ACR timer I've seen on any sim. Whereas for most of my sims it ticks to zero about once a sim day, give or take a few hours, for Claire it happens twice in that time.

Well, yay for variety. And, ahem, of course I wasn't thinking "more possibilities to concieve", why do you ask?

Part two coming soon!
