Surprise update is surprising. :) I didn't even realize how close I was before yesterday.
So yeah, the Slowest Legacy on Earth is back again with an update! (Hey, it hasn't even been two years! *shifty*) I hope you enjoy the chapter, and if you feel inclined to comment, that is welcomed wherever it's most convenient for you.

So does Dirk call the professor Dad, or Nicholas? ...Oh, the next slide tells me that -- it's the professor. What doe Dirk call Nicholas, then?
...And that is also answered a couple of slides along. That is the problem with commenting as you go, I guess. Well, I'll leave the comments there for historical interest.
Uh-oh, that's an ominous ending! And Kaylynn's got a secret, too. And it's about time for a downgrade. Er... Kaylynn owes a lot of money to the mob, and Komei is going to call in the debt once she marries Dirk, to break the family?

Date: May. 13th, 2018 08:27 am (UTC)Thanks! Yeah, everything does seem to be pretty well - for now, of course. ;) And the kids are all pretty cute. Perhaps Desdemona is the prettiest, but that might be because of the softer female features.
Yeah, Eric is Dad and Nicholas is Nicholas. Dirk does kind of consider Nicholas his "second Dad" (like in this old drabble), but he's learned to call him by his first name from a young age. I think it's mostly for simplicity's sake, and perhaps slightly because he doesn't want Eric to think he's been replaced.
Yeah, there's stuff going on again, which feels pretty exciting. It seems that this Legacy just needs plot to keep interesting. Anyway, that's a fun guess, but I'm going to keep my lips sealed. ;)
