Weekly simming 28/2018

Not quite as good progress this week than I've been having recently. During the week I've been a little distracted, and yesterday night was supposed to be reserved for sims, but then I got a nasty headache and spent the evening trying to recover from that. I did write a little bit for the Brokes both on Friday and today, but didn't get hugely far.
There's also a heat wave going on here, so I've been doing stuff like reading on the balcony. Apparently it's hot enough that even I'm feeling slightly overheated (and I'm always cold!), so just now I decided to turn off my simming machine for the night so that it wouldn't heat up the bedroom any more than it has. That's not a terribly common issue around here!
Anyway, a litle progress is a little progress so that's good. And I guess good weather is one of the nicer reasons for not having as much progress. One more week before my vacation starts, we'll see how that one goes!

Date: Jul. 18th, 2018 10:01 pm (UTC)Out of curiosity, how hot is a "heat wave" for you? Do you even have air conditioning as a common thing?
Hang in there -- vacation is getting closer and closer!

Date: Jul. 19th, 2018 04:48 am (UTC)Well we've been having temperatures between 27 and 32 Celsius (seems to translate to about 80 to 89 in Fahrenheit) during the day I'd say. A coworker said that crossing 30 is already quite rare here, happens like once in 15 years. As for air conditioning, places like stores and newer office buildings tend to have it, people's homes not so much. My workplace has air conditioning (so I have to take a sweater with me to work) but my apartment doesn't, I'm trying to make it cooler with a couple of fans.
Thanks, two workdays left right now, and I'm already awake so only one alarm. I'm getting there!
