Day two.
In the morning, I woke up bright and early. I'd slept surprisingly well, given the circumstances. When I looked around I saw that my bed was the only one that had been slept in.

I found my fellow inmates downstairs where I'd left them, and everyone was still alive and well. My first task of the day was to make some breakfast, in the hope that everyone would continue to be alive and well.

By the morning, I'd changed my mind about work. The household had a decent amount of money, and the only thing we'd need to – or be allowed to – spend on, would be food. I decided that my time would be better spent in the house, skilling and helping the others, than working in a job that was not the target of my ambition. So I called work and told them I wouldn't be coming after all.

Looking outside, I found that the sunlight had woken up Felix and Gabriel on the yard. For the moment, they seemed to have found company in each other, which was good, as they'd need to keep refilling their need for sunlight.

An absolutely vital task for the day was to check the job listings. Unfortunately, there were no openings in Architecture. The only thing to be done about that would be to prepare for the job in the meanwhile and keep checking back every day. It doesn't seem possible to persuade the staff to get even a cheap computer here.

After checking the job listings, I got to work trying to help around the house. It's pretty interesting that they refuse to hire help, as that means that they have to trust an inmate to do any and all repairs. Well, at least unclogging the toilet is not dangerous, and it's a useful skilling activity too.

My fellow inmates seemed to be able to entertain themselves while I was busy. It became clearer and clearer that not only Daisy and Edward were romantically involved, but so were Bernadette and Gabriel.

Actually, all seems to be going pretty well so far. The most annoying thing here really is that eight sims are just not meant to manage with one toilet and one shower. That's where the budget cuts are really outrageous. But still, we're managing somehow.

Since everything seemed to be going well, I decided that this would be a good time to get started working on our garden plot. I figured it would be useful for several reasons: I could either harvest the plants for money if needed, or restock the fridge with them. Both ways, we'd all be keeping fed. Also, if I got good enough in it, we'd be able to get eggplants, and with the juicer inside, I'd really be able to gain skillpoints quickly if it came to that.

It seems that not only Cecily, but also Bernadette found the piano an enjoyable pastime. Unlike Cecily, however, she seemed to mostly practice by herself. Or maybe the others had found something else to do rather than listen to the piano.

I decided to take a break from gardening, as I started feeling a bit hungry. I figured the others would be too, and apparently I was right, as while I was making sandwhiches, Cecily was already snacking from the fridge. That means our food supplies will probably be running out sooner, but on the other hand in the circumstances I'm relieved the others are more inclined to snack than to try to cook themselves.

Most of our inmates were hungry, but Felix and Gabriel were of course not. Instead, they seemed to be gossip-hungry and targeted one of the sims we met yesterday, Brandi. I suppose in a closed environment gossip is especially prone to build up.

Despite not getting hungry, I have a feeling that Felix and Gabriel have it the hardest in this place. This facility just isn't built for someone who needs constant sunlight.

For everyone else, the biggest challenge is probably the lacking bathroom facilities.
Well, and it seems they were mostly running on coffee, which I didn't think was such a great idea.

After lunch, I did some quick cleaning while no one was in the shower.

After that, I finally got back to my gardening. I was determined to plant a bunch of tomatoes today.

In the evening, when Edward fell asleep on the couch, I think it was the first time that I saw anyone else sleep.

Cecily seemed kind of worried as the evening came. I wondered whether she was worrying about her upcoming transformation, or whether it was mostly the state of her aspiration.

It could be the transformation, as based on what I've seen here, it seems to be rather agonizing. Bernadette was keeping company for Gabriel outside when it happened, and he was quite distraught about witnessing it.

On the other hand, after Cecily was done with hers, she seemed quite happy about having Annie as a fellow werewolf.

Tonight, we witness our first haunting, as I knew we would, sooner or later. It was the ghost of a man none of us knew. He appeared in the living room, as a transparent, green-toned apparition.

At this point I realized that I killed several of the ghosts in the living room. Which may not have been such a good idea, as I think new ghosts often make their first appearence at the scene of their death. Whoops.

Edward was the first to be scared by the unknown man. It wasn't a very pleasant experience for him.

I think I was nervous about our first ghost, so embarassingly I burned dinner tonight. Well, at least there were no accidents, and there was food all the same. Nobody should be getting too hungry when there's a ghost around.

I had planned to continue with the gardening in the evening, but when I saw our ghost wandering in the garden, I decided that the plants could wait until the morning.

I couldn't go to bed quite yet, though. I noticed Cecily headed for the fridge and started cooking, so I took a book and sat down on the couch just in case.

This time I need not have worried. Cecily was apparently a better cook than I was and managed to make everyone some unburnt spaghetti.

As Cecily's cooking was a success, I went to bed, it was already quite late. Again, I was able to freely choose a bed, no one else was even preparing to sleep.

The rest of the household was apparently planning to stay up and be social.

Well, except for Felix and Gabriel of course, who were again knocked out in the yard.

I thought I heard a wolf at some point in the night. I was told there was a leader of the pack outside, probably looking to join its kins, but it couldn't get in as the doors were locked.

The unknown ghost we'd just seen tonight was a popular topic of conversation.

I do wonder, though, what the others might be saying about me when I'm not there.

At dawn, our resident werewolves again became their daytime selves. The second night was over.

That's it for today! Thanks for reading and happy simming!
