Day 12.
Another day in the asylum. Today I woke up feeling determined. It finally felt like I had things in my own hands now.

I'll admit though, I did feel kind of nervous about my first day at work.

Now this looks much more accurate for my simself than the fingerguns I've been seeing earlier!

The rest of the household were waking up too, including Felix and Gabriel in the front yard. Felix seemed to be in the need of some water.

As usual, I made breakfast for everyone. Cereal is an easy and safe option.

After that, I was already in a hurry to get to work. I rushed past Felix and Gabriel in the yard. I could only hope that everything would be alright in my absence.

I heard afterwards that the beginning wasn't too promising. Bernadette and Gabriel exchanged some heated words soon after I left.

Fortunately, Felix was able to distract Gabriel with some gossip about Nina, who'd visited us early on. I don't really know if she's done anything gossip-worthy, but apparently juicy gossip is hard to resist.

And Bernadette found something constructive to do in feeding the inmates. Without accidents, too.

Lunch was had in relative peace.

This is when I discovered that while off the lot, my simself can still call the others to meal, if someone else cooks. Quite useful.

My first day at work was quite successful: I was promoted right away. I came back to Felix and Gabriel hanging out in the yard.

I was quite hungry, so all the more reason to be happy about Bernadette making sandwiches for everyone.

After taking care of my basic needs, it was time to head back out to the garden. The eggplants were getting big and needed care.

It was quiet out there, as many of our inmates decided to take an afternoon nap.

Meanwhile, I took care of some household chores.

I was still at it when eight o'clock hit and the werewolves transformed once again.

Annie beat me to making dinner, and again she made it without any issues. It was relieving, and quite helpful too.

Especially as I again saw three ghosts out and about when looking out the window.

I sat happily down with Edward, to have dinner that I didn't have to cook.

Meanwhile Felix and Gabriel hung out in the yard. I believe they've been there most of the day.

After dinner, I sat down on the couch to study for a little bit before bed.

From the corner of my eye, I could follow Edward and Annie playing chess. If I'm not entirely mistaken, I saw Annie cheating.

I was tired after the long day at work, so after a little bit of studying, I headed to bed. Everything seemed peaceful enough, so I hoped it would stay that way.

It seems that for the most part it did. There was some watching movies.

As well as playing chess. Annie told me she maximized her logic skill while she was at it.

There was some hanging out in the yard. Bernadette apparently also spent some time there, I'm not sure if it was to try and get the attention of Felix or to pick a fight with Gabriel, but neither succeeded.

At least until one of our ghosts rudely interrupted the hangout between Felix and Gabriel. Felix got a scare, but was fortunately unharmed.

He was later seen in the house seeking comfort from Bernadette.

I felt a bit guilty when Annie mentioned that late into the night she felt hungry enough to eat spoiled food from the counter. She assured to me that she was alright, but still, she could have gotten a food poisoning!

The rest of the night was mostly as usual. The bathroom was a popular location, and while that may have bothered Cecily somewhat, she decided that when she needed to bathe, she needed to bathe.

Once again I was awakened by the transforming werewolves. The 12th night was over, and a new day had dawned.

That's all for day 12. Thanks for reading, and until next time, happy simming!
