Katri and the case of the Haunted Asylum, Day 13

Day 13.
Another day locked up in this facility. I got up in the morning, as did apparently also Daisy, so I wasn't the only one sleeping at night time.



My morning routine has just about stayed the same. Get up, make breakfast for everybody, bathroom.



The only thing that I haven't quite gotten used to is that now I need to go to work as well. I was almost late, but made it by sprinting to the carpool. Apparently Felix and Gabriel were playing the punching game outside. Poor Gabriel still hasn't understood that Felix hits hard.



After I left, things apparently went in their usual way. Felix was seen outside spending time with Bernadette.



Cecily and Edward kindly cleaned up the plates after breakfast.



Meanwhile, Gabriel and Daisy spent the forenoon at the chess board.



Eventually Gabriel wandered out and shared some gossip with Felix. About a stray wolf that had come to our yard earlier. I don't suppose we have much real material for gossip here.



My second working day was a successful one as well: I came home with another promotion.



As there didn't seem to be any immediate emergencies going on, I took a shower and headed for the garden. It wouldn't be too long until we'd have some eggplants.


There was a stray wolf on our yard, and it apparently did not approve of my gardening. I was relieved when it left me alone

Meanwhile, several of the others were waking up from an afternoon nap, and Edward, Daisy and Cecily were immediately drawn together.


Soon after that, it was time for me to cook dinner for everyone. We had to take care that everyone was well fed.



As darkness fell, the front lawn was apparently the place to be, as almost everyone headed out.



And that was where they were when it was time for the werewolf transformations.



I needed to head out too, as there were weeds on my plants.



As I was out there, I noticed that we had a new ghost, a red spirit of a man. I'd lost count how many we'd seen, but I was rather certain that this was a new one.





Bernadette was hungry again, and she was kind enough to cook for the others too. Especially the werewolves seem to be hungry in the evenings, perhaps it is because of their taxing transformations.





As I was freed from cooking again, I was eager to get to some other household tasks that needed doing, and gain some skill while I was at it.

I think the official personality for my simself may be too neat. Because that is not how I react to cleaning. :D



After (second) dinner, many of the others were again drawn out.



Annie was quicker than me to get to the food delivery. We still eat a lot, it seems.



I was pretty exhausted, so I headed to bed after I'd made sure that the food delivery ended up in the fridge.



According to eyewitnesses, the night was quite eventful. One of the ghosts caught Felix in the front yard.



Daisy, Edward and Cecily continued to be quite tight, but that's not the eventful part.



Bernadette and Gabriel haven't been getting along well since she chose Felix over him, but so far, they'd stayed out of each other's hair most of the time. But not tonight, and things escalated quickly.



Yes, it actually came to blows.



Our other inhabitants didn't seem to mind, actually Annie told me that they looked on with interest, even cheered. (Bernadette might have something to say to Felix if she knew that he was rooting for Gabriel.)





Bernadette won the fight, and Gabriel was quite upset.





After that, things were relatively peaceful for a bit.



Unfortunately, Bernadette and Gabriel were not done with settling their score yet.



Annie tried to distract them, but that only worked for so long.





There was another fight, which Bernadette won again.



Perhaps it was for the best that eventually Gabriel passed out next to Felix on the sidewalk. That may have been the only way to get Bernadette's attention away from him.



Finally, the night was over and the werewolves transformed back. Our 13^th day and night were over.
