Day 15.
Even in an asylum, you have to get up everyday. I feel like I'm repeating myself by this point.

To start the day off, the shower was leaking, so I did my best to fix it. Unfortunately that took longer than I thought and threw my schedule off.

To top it off, Bernadette and Gabriel started their morning by fighting in the front yard. They were horrifying the paper boy, but Annie had seen it all and took it as entertainment.

I had to push past them to get to my carpool, but I made it on time, just about.

I hadn't had time to make breakfast, and that bothered me the whole time at work. What if some horrible accident happened while I was away?

From what I heard later, I had some reason to worry too. The inmates were indeed hungry, and as they aren't in the best of shapes after being locked up for a while, no one tried to cook. On the one hand, not cooking was good, but on the other hand...

Annie said she was tired and tried to sleep, but she was too hungry for it.

Bernadette was getting very hungry too.

That, however, didn't prevent her from having another fight with Gabriel.

It was a long day for all of us, but thankfully it did end. As I came home, I found Cecily eating from the trash, which was definitely a sign I needed to get cooking ASAP. On top of that, I didn't get a promotion as I was hoping to: I'd overlooked the fact that I needed to make a friend to be eligible. On what time, I wondered.

I didn't even get changed out of my work clothes before cooking for us, and clearly the food was much needed. I was relieved to see that we all got to eat and no one was starving.

After the meal I had some household chores to do, so I didn't bother to get changed. The work clothes were better suited for that anyway.

I heard some muffled fight noises through the thin bathroom door. Apparently Bernadette and Gabriel were at it again.

I tried to distract them by chatting with Gabriel for a bit. I don't know if it helped much, but at least I got a bit of a break.

I couldn't spend all evening with him, though. I had a garden to tend to. We actually had eggplants now, if only I had the time to harvest them!

Felix was kind enough to help me with Gabriel, spending some time with his buddy.

Again, night came around. A sure sign of that were the werewolf howls.

And well, ghosts as well. I counted three tonight.

One of them caught Cecily in the front yard.

Whatever combined efforts me and Felix had made, by the evening they had apparently stopped working, as Bernadette and Gabriel were at each other's throats again.

And of course they had to fight in the living room, where I was trying to get some studying thing. I had to flee into the kitchen, I couldn't watch.

That's where my simself is pretty accurate I suppose, I imagine I'd flee too.

Tonight, me and Annie had a new scheme. We tried to get Bernadette and Gabriel to hang out with us, with the hope that they might repair their terms at least a little bit. Unfortunately, while they both spoke to me and Annie the usual way, they didn't say a word to each other.

After some time, I left Annie to it and headed out to take care of the garden.

While there, one of the ghosts caught me there. It was a bit of a scare of course, but I was well fed, so I wasn't too worried.

I heard that meanwhile, the romantic lives of my roommates kept getting more complicated: Gabriel seeked consolation from Cecily. That would be all well and good, but Cecily is already involved with Edward. If Gabriel is unfortunate enough to witness that, I'm afraid he'll get hurt again.

I was kind of relieved when I saw Gabriel passed out next to Felix in the front yard. At least the drama should be over for tonight.

Well, the romantic drama at least. Before I was done gardening, I was caught by ghosts two more times. Better me than one of the others I suppose.

By the time I was finally done with gardening, it was clear that I wouldn't be making it to bed tonight. I'd essentially already pulled an all-nighter, and after the ghost scares, I needed food. I figured an early breakfast would be a good idea for the rest of the inmates.

We were done with eating and I was having some coffee to keep going for a bit longer, when six o'clock hit. The werewolves transformed back, the ghosts returned to their rest, and despite the eventful times, we'd made it through our fifteenth night.

That concludes day fifteen. Thanks for reading and until next time, happy simming!
