Day 18.
Another day in the asylum. I wouldn't even remember how many it's been if I hadn't been keeping a diary. Each day is the same.

First up, taking care of the morning business, and making sure everyone is fed. Checking up with the inmates. It seems there have again been some quarrels in the night as I was asleep, but nothing too much out of the usual.

Next up, leaving for work and hoping that I might get a promotion today. And that everyone is still alive when I come back.

It seems that several of the others were again in a helpful mood while I was away.

Apparently the day started peacefully enough, with some playing catch in the front yard.

That wasn't to last for long, however. I'm not sure what exactly happened, but according to the others, Gabriel had some kind of a breakdown. I feel sorry for him, but with how things have been going, I suppose this has been coming for a while.

According to the other inmates, he behaved strangely, as if there was someone there who was talking to him, encouraging him.

Annie, the kind soul, tried her best to distract Gabriel from his worries, sad in the knowledge that it'd likely do little good.

And indeed, later on the others saw Gabriel cuddling a sack of flour as if it was a baby. It seems he'd gotten it from the kitchen cupboards.
It makes me quite angry with the powers that be. I can assure you that we were all sane when they locked us in here. Now, all the inmates are experiencing some kind of issues, and as for Gabriel, I'm no longer sure if he's sane or not. We were all fine!

By the time I got back home from work, Gabriel and Bernadette were at each other's throats again. They even worried some poor teenage girl who happened to pass by. Although, I'm not sure how she can't know that this is a closed facility.

Well, at least I got a promotion today. If it's to be believed that we'll be let out of here when I've reached my goal of becoming City Planner, then we're one step closer to that. Really, I don't even want to think about not being let out.

Once again, my help was needed around the house. The shower was leaking, so I got to it before even getting changed.

I needed to rest my back a bit, so I watched the cooking channel with Daisy and Edward, and got to hear about their day – or mostly Gabriel's, as his was the most eventful one.

And then it was time to make dinner for the household.

Not for me though. Today was the day that I finally got to try out the literal fruits of my labor – the eggplants! The juice was thick and tasty, it was really all I needed for dinner.

And it worked as advertised, too. I got a nice boost to my charisma skill, so this was definitely a successful experiment.

We needed to pay the bills – it's weird how they've put me in charge of that, seeing that I'm an inmate and all. Well, I do have a bit of a special standing among us, but still. Apparently Bernadette and Felix had snuck out for some alone time, out of Gabriel's eyes too.

That wasn't for very long though. Soon enough the clock hit eight, and it was time for our werewolves to transform.

After that, well it was more of the usual. I faintly remember getting complaints how my fellow inmates didn't get to use the bathroom because it was occupied by Gabriel and Bernadette to romance. Well, now it's again occupied by Gabriel and Berndette. Not for romance though, judging by the muffled curse words and punching noises.
I heard about it from Daisy and Edward too, I think they were trying to occupy the bathroom for romancing purposes, but got interrupted.

Three ghosts out tonight, all seem to be familiar faces. I hope that they stay outside, and that my roommates stay inside. I wouldn't want them to mix too much.

I spent a lot of the evening watching the cooking channel with Annie. I learned something more about cooking too, which was nice.

For an evening snack, I had some more eggplant juice. I don't think skills are going to be much of an hinderance in my career, if I can keep producing and drinking this juice.

After that, I was spent and decided the others had to manage without me for the rest of the night.

And manage they did I suppose. Felix was kind enough to help me by mopping up in the bathroom. Actually, he quite enjoyed it, he said.

He also said it was mostly an uneventful night. Aside from Gabriel getting himself into trouble a few more times of course.

Otherwise, it was apparently a rather calm night overall.

Well, there was one other thing apparently, and I was kind of shocked when Felix told me: he's apparently now romantically involved with Cecily, too. I asked about Bernadette the first thing, but apparently she's fine with it. Otherwise it's really even my concern, and I get that Felix is a Pleasure sim and all that, but... Isn't there enough drama in the house already? Well, all I can do is hope it doesn't all explode in his face, or anyone else's.

Regardless, at least we made it another day and night. Morning came as it always does, and the werewolf howls echoed through the house.

That's it for Day 18! It's again been a long while since I posted, real life and laziness have gotten in the way. Now I'm taking part in the Boolprop SimNano event, so I'm hoping to get a few updates done this month. Anyway, thanks for reading and I hope to see you again next time. Until then, happy simming!
