Day 20.
Another morning in the asylum. Yesterday's terrible luck has me determined for a better day today. I need to get this career thing in control, so we can all get out of here, sooner rather than later.

Step one for that is a proper breakfast.

For the inmates especially. They're going to have to manage while I'm away.

Step two is boosting my Aspiration. Get platinum if I can.

Step three is going to work in a good mood. I really hope this works.

In any case, I suppose it's good that I got away for the day. Otherwise I would have had to watch more fighting. Which is of course not surprising in the slightest.

Annie admitted to me that she's having a rough time of it. She tries to keep her spirits up and distract herself, but in times like these it's not easy.

She said she tried to calm her nerves by playing the piano. That was always her thing.

Apparently also Daisy and Bernadette were looking for distractions.

Actually, Daisy and Edward tried their very best to concentrate on something that wasn't Gabriel's fights.

My determination paid off! I got a promotion today, and I'm now back to being a Head of Construction Company. Now to keep that going for the days to come, and I can get us out of here.

In preparation for those days to come, I re-fertilized the garden. It never hurts to have a new set of crops coming.

After that, it was quickly becoming dark, so it was dinnertime before we'd be getting ghosts again.

After that the piano seemed to be free, so I grabbed the chance and relaxed a little by playing some.

By the familiar howls I could tell it was eight o'clock once again.

Tonight, it was apparently Felix who passed out early. I think he and his ladies must have forgotten to spend time outside.

Gabriel, on the other hand, still had energy left for fighting.

In an effort of distraction, I called everyone to watch tv with me for a bit.

Thankfully, soon afterwards Gabriel, too, passed out.

For the rest of the crew, it was time for a second dinner. Especially for the werewolves, the transformations seem to consume a lot of energy, and in general, we've decided that we prefer fat inmates to dead ones.

The night was fortunately calm enough so that I could do some studying.

There was at least one ghost out, but he seemed to be happy to stay outside, and the only inmates there were currently not available for scaring.

After a while, I decided to call it a night. I'm hoping for another good day at work tomorrow, and a good night's rest tends to help with that.

From what I heard later, it was quite a quiet night, with both Felix and Gabriel passed out. I think the ladies at least quite enjoyed the quiet time.

Annie decided she could help me with the cooking, since it was so calm and all.

However, that was cut off, as the morning had come and the werewolves turned back into their human selves. The twentieth night was over.

And that's it for Day 20! This completes my personal goal for SimNano, with a day left to spare. This is also as far as I've played currently, so before I can update again I need to play some more. But that's all for the better! Thanks again for reading, and I hope to see you again for Day 21. Until then, happy simming!
