Day 28.
Morning came as it always does. Another day in the asylum, another chance to get closer to getting out.

First things first, breakfast. Once again, it was much needed, our werewolves were quite hungry.

I saw that Felix and Gabriel were already up too. They were talking about something in the yard and laughing. I wonder what was so funny.

For me, breakfast was again eggplant juice, so as to get some Aspiration before work.

That was all I had time to do, really, as the carpool was already honking outside. I just hoped it would be enough.

The day in the asylum apparently went on as usual, with the everyday arguments and romancing.

The rickety sink had again spewed water around, and Daisy tried to undo the damage.

And as expected, the arguments came down to punches.

Most of the inmates tried to get some sleep in the afternoon, although Bernadette said she didn't sleep very well. She kept having nightmares.

I heard a rumor that as our resident plantsims don't need sleep and Cecily was awake too, there was some private time downstairs for other activities.

Yes, they woohooed on the couch. I was kind of surprised to see it after all this time. Then I realized that although ACR is on (it's responsible for most of the drama here), woohoo is very rare because there is no double bed and the couch is rarely considered "free" with other sims in the room most of the time. With my simself at work and most others sleeping, it was a prime opportunity for Cecily and Felix. Thank goodness the household is full!

Gabriel was of course awake too, and a bit surprisingly, he decided to do something constructive with his time, cleaning the shower. It was probably for the best that he stayed out of the living room.

Finally, my workday ended and I came home with good news: I had been promoted to Architectural Partner! Again one step closer to getting out of here.

What was perhaps not so great was that apparently I would need two more friends to qualify for the next promotion. And of course, I'm not allowed to leave the facility other than for work. Well, what can we do, other than get to it. But first, I needed coffee.

The inmates were again hungry, so I decided to try and kill two birds with one stone. I ordered some Chinese for us.

Bernadette was apparently the hungriest of all, as she beat me to accepting the delivery.

I was quick to greet the delivery person, though, as my main point for ordering the food was to meet someone new.

Soon afterwards it was time for the nightly transformations and for ghostly visitors. One of our ghosts was out tonight.

It turns out that my plan for getting Chinese wasn't so great after all for the feeding of the inmates part. Apparently they weren't very into Chinese, so I ended up making spaghetti anyway.

That is, I found out that I couldn't use "call to meal" on the Chinese tray, so I couldn't make sure everyone ate.

I spent a lot of the evening on the phone with our mail carrier. He was rather interested in our ghost sightings, and at the end of it, we became friends.

As I got off the phone, Gabriel didn't seem too well. He was laughing at something, but nobody could tell what exactly.

That was something I couldn't really do anything about, so I just headed to bed. I still needed to make friends with the delivery guy I just met today, but that would have to wait for tomorrow. With luck, I might be able to do so before work.

The night was... I was going to say "a quiet one", but that's not really accurate. Let's say it was of the ordinary kind, with the usual drama.

Thank goodness not everyone is involved in the drama.

Again, at some point in the night, Felix passed out from lack of sunlight.

Gabriel, however, did not.

Even though the Chinese didn't originally get a hugely enthusiastic reception from the inmates, it did draw hungry werewolves in towards the morning. I probably should have thrown it away before I went to bed, it can't have been good at that point.

Eventually, the morning came. I woke up to werewolf howls, so I knew we'd made it through another night.

And that's it for Day 28! Slowly, slowly, we're getting there... Thanks once again for reading and I hope you'll join us for Day 29 in turn. Until then, happy simming!
