Day 29.
Another busy day ahead of me in the asylum. Better get up sooner rather than later.

The inmates were, as always, up as I went downstairs.

They were quite hungry too. Cecily in particular had found a box of Chinese from the night before and was about to start eating it as I came to the kitchen. It didn't look like it was a very good idea at this point.

I quickly made some cereal for breakfast and tried to tell Cecily she could have that too, but she insisted on finishing the Chinese first.

As soon as I was done with serving breakfast, I got on the phone. I still needed to make a friend if I hoped to get a promotion today.

As I had feared, the Chinese from yesterday wasn't really good to eat anymore, and it gave Cecily food poisoning.

And of course, there was a fight going on in the yard, too.

All in all, I wasn't feeling too great as I rushed for my carpool. One of our inmates was again ill with food poisoning, the endless fighting irritated me, and I'd had to cut my phone conversation short, so I wouldn't qualify for a promotion today.

Apparently, the fighting continued after I'd left. No suprise there.

Cecily started to regret eating that old Chinese food.

Felix went on a bit of a cleaning spree. Thanks to him, no one else would get food poisoning from the cereal at least.

In the afternoon, Cecily had sense enough to get some sleep. Hopefully it would help her get better.

In the end, my workday ended. Too bad I didn't qualify for a promotion today, but that couldn't be helped. I just have to try again.

Again, before anything else, I needed some coffee.

As I got to cooking dinner, Felix was apparently playing some chess by himself.

Meanwhile, I heard some fighting noises from upstairs, so not everyone was spending their evening as peacefully.

Even fighting had to be interrupted for the nightly transformations, however.

I hadn't had the best day, so I was kind of irritated and lost in thought. I suppose I should have concentrated better, so I wouldn't have burned the spaghetti.
Well, at least it was just the spaghetti, we can live with that.

One ghost out tonight, the yellowish lady who looks like she's been electrocuted.

After making dinner, I finally had the time to go harvest the last of the second batch of eggplants. It's a wonder they didn't go bad. But now I should definitely be set with the eggplants.

The burned spaghetti wasn't very enjoyable, but it was filling, which was the main thing.

After coming in from the yard, I got on the phone again, to make friends with the Chinese delivery person, like I intended to do already in the morning.

I glanced out and saw that both Felix and Gabriel were passed out, already this early in the evening. Well, that promises for a quiet night.

I was a bit worried about Cecily, with her food poisoning, she really should be resting. After she had eaten a good helping of the spaghetti, I asked her to come watch some tv with me, so she'd at least sit down.

After that, I headed to bed. I'm hoping to get that promotion tomorrow, so skipping sleep is not an option.

As I'd predicted, the night was quiet with both Felix and Gabriel passed out. Cecily spent some time resting, and while she was still sick a time or two, the food poisoning passed during the night.

Otherwise, the night was spent in various relaxing and fun activities.

And eventually, it ended. The familiar howls echoed in the facility, and I knew that morning had come.

That's it for Day 29! I've now finished playing the challenge, but there's a few days left to type up. I hope you enjoyed this day, and welcome back for Day 30 in time. Until then, happy simming!
