leaths for Aadam for the ten facts character meme, so I thought I'd give it a go. Here we go! =)

10 facts about Cyrus:

1) Although Cyrus is the oldest of the siblings, he has some insecurities that one would maybe rather expect from a younger brother than from an older brother. Although he hasn't been very concerned of things such as romance in his youth, having two siblings who navigate in this world with such ease has caused him to occasionally worry about whether he should be concerned of romance.

2) Despite 1), Cyrus is not generally shy - he is actually pretty outgoing and generally friendly to everyone. In-game, he has 8 outgoing points, although he doesn't quite act that outgoing.

3) On some level, Cyrus has always been a little bit jealous to Cho, for getting so much attention, not to mention the heirship. Being the oldest, and probably the most responsible, of the siblings it would have been rather natural for him to be the heir, and he knows it. Cyrus has, however, accepted the situation and has taken good care not to breathe a word of this to his sister or let it affect their terms. Cho, on the other hand, has never conciously realized that Cyrus would have entertained the thought of becoming the heir. Charlie has in this sense been more observant, but he has kept his knowledge to himself.

4) Cyrus does not necessarily make a distinction between close friendship and romantic love, as he has been saying to Chris. He realizes that this makes him rather different from others and they may not always understand his viewpoint. For Chris, the distinction is perhaps a lot clearer, but she is able to understand him in a way that for example the rest of the Bookacy first circle is not. Chris values Cyrus' friendship above all, and perhaps under his influence, she also to some extent sees their relationship as primarily friendship and only secondarily as dating.

5) One rather clear in-game characteristic that isn't seen much in Cyrus' written charcter is his neatness. He has 8 neat points, and at least now that he is a vampire, he'd constantly clean if I'd let him.

6) Cyrus has the tendency take life one day at a time and he's rather easily adjusted to new situations. When he got bitten by Salahuddin in his teens, he found that a scary and uncomfortable event, but after the initial shock he was rather easily adjusted to being a vampire. He wants to be cured, but he appreciates that it is difficult for Sunny to arrange and tries to enjoy the good sides of being a vampire and not worry too much about any possible threats it may pose, as those are things outside his control.

7) In his teenage, Cyrus never realized that Opal would have wanted to be more than friends. In his adulthood, he has realized this somewhat - not entirely consciously - and is both flattered and intimidated by the thought. He also feels guilty for not being able to handle the situation and salvage their relationship before they started drifting apart.

8) Cyrus is pretty goal-oriented and ambitious, quite like his grandmother Nicole. He wants to be a business tycoon, and partly this wish is connected with his desire to show his capability to his family, to make him proud. In this matter I wouldn't say he's insecure, but perhaps he doesn't always see how proud the family is of him already.

9) Despite 8), Cyrus is quite easygoing and relaxed, always up for a good party. This is why his secondary is pleasure, despite the dating side not being of huge importance to him.

10) Despite the crazy, adventurous love lives of the rest of the first circle, Cyrus quite enjoys living together with them. There is always someone in the house, and often a party going on. Especially being a vapire and often only being awake when others are asleep, living in the house that never sleeps is a good option for him.

10 facts about Aadam:

1) As a child, Aadam always somehow understood he was in some way different from the other siblings, even though his parentage was an unspoken issue in the family. It bothered him, although he didn't know why.

2) Aadam's greatest regret in life is that he never reconciled his terms with his mother. Strangely enough, he never had any real issue with Count Curtis, although many others in his situation would have considered him the intruder. In Aadam's later life, starting when he started to realize his father's true nature, he was able to forgive his mother for not being able to be honest with him when he was young, but when he realized this, it was already too late.

3) Perhaps, as strange as it is, fact 2) has also contributed to the fact that Aadam stayed so long with his father. In addition to naively believing Salahuddin's claims of being mistreated, Aadam secretly hoped to meet his mother again and ask for her forgivness.

4) Some initial confusion aside, Aadam and Rebecca have been able to stay friends regardless of Adson's continuing relationship with Rebecca. All the three of them are in fact, especially in the later years, very close, and the initial awkwardness was quickly forgotten after they realized that their mutual relationships had, after all, found their ideal states. In fact, Adson has been Aadam's closest friend since childhood.

5) Aadam and Joy were clearly destined for each other, but the difficult situation long kept them from making their relationship official for a long time. They had been adults and living together for a long time in Salahuddin's house, when they both rolled the want to get married on the same aspiration boosting date. They were quite far along in adulthood when plot finally allowed me to fulfill that wish.

6) His troubled childhood and the unfortunate consequences thereof have made Aadam value family and friendship quite highly, and he is determined to stay close to his wife and two daughters no matter what. He has also kept quite tight contact with all the siblings, and now that most of them have passed away, he has become much closer to Aurora, with whom they did not initially seem to have much in common.

7) Aadam still hopes that Salahuddin will be able to give up the ghost of Author and find happiness, but he does not expect that to happen. With the help of Joy, he has been able to accept the facts, and concentrate on his own life and his own family quite successfully.

8) Despite the sad story of Aadam's life in the canon story, he has in-game been quite happy and successful. He is now permaplat twice over (max all skills and become hand of poseidon), and still has a doable LTW (reach golden anniversary).

9) In-game, Aadam and Marsha are in fact siblings, since I made Salahuddin Marsha's adoption parent when she moved in. They are also very close, have been since Marsha was a child, so both these matters in the canon story are also true in-game.

10) In his old days, Aadam has gotten quite interested in traveling. With the girls out of the nest, he wants to see the world with Joy, perhaps even do something knowledge-wise exciting, such as meeting a bigfoot. For a long time, Aadam was afraid of doing anything out of the ordinary, but now, partly with Joy's help, he has understood that he is allowed to enjoy life, and living in fear is not a viable solution. So while he still insists on strict protection for his family (and the extended family in the police force insists on protecting them), he has been able to worry less and embrace life.
