Progress/procastrinating report

So. I'm not dead, nor have I dropped off the face of the Earth.

What is it then that I've been doing? Well, I've made some nice progress with the Bookacies. I've finished the quickie rotation in the main hood, and I've started writing, I've got currently 35 slides of the next update written. I should write a little bit more to see how the update shapes up, and then I should do some plotty photoshooting. So that's all good.


Mostly, though, I've been procastrinating. During my vacation I mostly played the Terranos. Maybe it says something that my second generation heiress, Ella, has graduated college. Just playing without worrying about pictures or plot is such so relaxing - and addicting. I've also shot some photos for my family photo project, although not that many, and none of them are made into paintings yet. I've just been too lazy to open up Wizards of Simpe and find the perfect frames.

My plan was to have the update ready for my legaversary, which is on the 5th. Granted, I have a work deadline coming up and naturally that gets the priority. Still, until last night I thought it might still be doable, if I find the inspiration to write fast. That was when I found I've apparently gotten the autumn flu.

Nothing too vigorous, mostly I have a sore throat and I get tired easier. Then it'll turn to a stuffy nose, then to coughing. But most likely it means I won't write and photoshoot in the evenings as I had planned, all energy goes to work and the most likely necessary overtime I need to pull for the deadline. In my free time I'll probably just slack off, drink lots of tea and try to keep warm. Too bad for the legaversary, but oh well. I'll finish it when I finish it. I'm a little bit not-so-happy about my recent lack of progress, especially as I have lots of plans that I want to get rolling for the Bookacies. Well, life just gets in the way sometimes.


Ramble-y and pointless post is ramble-y and pointless. Just wanted to pop by and say something. So I have. Now I think I'll get a nice, hot shower and get ready for bed. Good night, all!

I've never gotten anything done on my legaversary, so you're not alone there.

Thank you, I'll try to do so. Hopefully it'll go away soon.

Good to know I'm not alone in this. =) Last year was the only time I've done something for it, and apparently it'll stay that way for now. It would've been nice, but well, life happens.

Thanks, I hope so too. =) It seems to be time indeed, and it seems to be hitting with a force too. Maybe because the summer was so nice and warm, and now it's suddenly so cold...
