Poker face card #5: 1000 words or less
Aug. 12th, 2013 11:13 pmOkay, so. My last Poker face card was "1000 words or less", and I was originally a bit uninspired. You know, since those 1000 words or less could be about anything. So I went looking for inspiration, and remembered that I have plenty of unused, perfectly good prompts from the two previous Myshuno events, so why not use one of them?
This prompt is Getting married to the wrong person and it's from my 2011 Myshuno card. And actually, it's an even older weekly simspiration prompt that I included in the card because well, with the storyline I was writing back then, it obviously inspired me. I had every intention of writing that prompt then, almost two years ago, but somehow never did, as was the case with several other interesting prompts.
So what can I say, here it is now? It's another angle on a rather big event, an angle I never showed in the story itself, but kind of wanted to. This is approximately how it is in my head.
