Weekly simming 8/2018
Feb. 26th, 2018 09:11 pmI can't say that I had huge amounts of progress last week, but it was better than the one before, for sure. Already because my mood was better to begin with. I managed to write a bit of the Lakewood update in the weekend - it's getting there. Then on a whim, I caught up with Skell's Fortune & Romance (I know, I know, so very late to the party), and found it quite enjoyable. Actually, it happens that a minor character there has a role to play with the Bookacies starting next chapter, so that gave me plot bunnies. Or well, at least characterization bunnies.
It got me to write a couple of slides of the chapter, and I'm even feeling sort of excited about things suddenly. I don't know what this will amount to, excitement doesn't necessarily imply increased productivity, not with my stories anyway, but hey, it might help. It definitely helps with my mood and my feelings about it. I know I purposefully downplayed plot, but perhaps that didn't quite work out the way I intended in all ways. Well, live and learn. It seems right now stuff is brewing in my head, so I'll let it brew and see if anything comes out of it.
