Okay, okay... *jumps off cliff*
Jul. 4th, 2011 10:19 pmAlright, let me just jump off the cliff, maybe the bandwagon is still underneath... I dunno how well I'll be able to answer these for my characters, but I can try. :)
Give me one of the characters from my story and I will tell you:
* How I feel about this character
* All the people I ship romantically with this character
* My non-romantic OTP for this character
* My unpopular opinion about this character
* One thing that will happen to this character in the future of my story.

I didn't ever really ship him with Author either, because they never were long-time compatible, and Author belongs with Curty, full stop. Before Sal can become shippable with anyone, he'd have to overcome his obsessive love for Author, and well... you guessed it, not about to happen.
3. It's sort of sad that I can only think of the negative kinds of non-romantic OTPs for Sal. Aadam, because after he found out about his father, the two of them became really close, and with Aadam's trouble with accepting that his parents would never be together, and all his youth he had been lied to, the two of them understood each other in a way that others couldn't. And Komei, because of his anti-legacy (and somewhat also anti-playable) attitudes. Sal has had some bitter thoughts about legacies himself, and can the two can very well understand where the other one is coming from. Not that either of these relationships have led to good things, but still.
4. I don't know if there is a popular opinion about Sal, but... In my head, was he not so damn crazy, he'd actually be a nice guy.
5. Salahuddin will, in not so distant future, come to meet someone he hasn't seen for a long time.

3. Naturally Chris, although this may feel like cheating a bit. But, they simply are best friends, full stop. Also, Cho. They've been close since childhood, and both wanted to inherit and bring the family honour. So despite their completely different attitudes towards romance and woohoo, they are pretty similar in many other respects. If possible, their grief and guilt over Charlie's death have brought the siblings even closer.
4. Cyrus is not actually a doofus, even though he often looks like it. Or, he kind of is, but... I think there's "a natural explanation" for it, see 1.
5. Cyrus will get married, and the event will be spectacular. :)

Date: Jul. 5th, 2011 12:08 pm (UTC)2. Joy, obviously. Perhaps if they'd really tried, he and Rebecca could have made it work, but because Rebecca felt a much stronger pull towards Adson and Aadam was changing, in these circumstances their friendly breakup was pretty much inevitable. Not many women would have been able to put up with his life situation. If we put aside technical matters such as gender-preferences and takennes, perhaps Aadam could have come along with some other angsty descendant/sidekick, such as SJ or Max. At least they'd probably understand each other. Whether it'd be a good relationship, is another thing.
3. Adson, Rebecca and Abraham. Despite their breakup, Aadam and Rebecca stayed in good terms, and grew even closer in their later years. Adson was perhaps the most important person for Aadam ever since their childhood, and this endured also Adson and Rebecca's getting together. Abraham was probably, after Adson, the second closest of the siblings with Aadam, especially after he brought Rebecca back - and after Aadam forgave him the accidental zombiefication.
4. Aadam has grown stronger in his later years, but he'll always have his weak moments. Thankfully he has Joy and the girls, but at least if it weren't for them, he might have a pretty bad temptation to go back to Salahuddin.
5. Aadam's scientific skills may come useful in the future, in a matter that has to do with a certain close relative of his.

Date: Jul. 6th, 2011 05:49 pm (UTC)2. Well, Count Pao, and that's pretty much the end of it, at least in my game. I mean, I've somehow always known that he'd like guys, in my head it went so that he inherited from Author not only his turn ons but also his gender preference. And well, as a fellow pleasure sim who had exactly those traits - and was another immortal - how much more perfect can you get?
3. George has been fond of every heir and heiress who's been his master/mistress in turn. Perhaps he was closest with Adrian, who was the first heir whom he'd known since childhood, and with whom he spent a lot of time also in adulthood, when helping him with his cheesy LTW.
4. Hmm. Tough one. Again, I'm not sure whether there is a popular/unpopular opinion about George. George is kind, perhaps too kind for his own good. He'd defend the family with his life if needs be, but could he stand up for himself in a tough situation?
5. George has an idea and the means to bring into action said idea, which will affect the future of the family in a fairly important way. (Can you get any more vague than that? :) )
