Progress report
Nov. 16th, 2011 09:45 pmOkay, time for a progress report and a couple of non-spoilery takeouts, just for fun. Now it's a very good time to do that, as I'm in excercise-induced coma and unable to do much else.
So yeah, there has been progress, yay! I've been spending several evenings (those when I'm not in excercise-coma, anyway) photoshooting, and actually a better part of last weekend too. It's been quite challenging, probably these pictures are among the most ambitious ones I've done with the Bookacies, plus the picture taking is for me the part of sim storytelling I've got less practise in. Anyway, it's been fun, too, and I'm excited to finally get too see those scenes I've had running in my head for a looooong time come to life. It's pretty neat.
So now, after yesterday evening, I think I should have everything I need for the next two updates. Yes, two. The next one is basically an extended family update, and the one after that is plot, plot and more plot. They're related, so it made sense to shoot them both at once. I'm considering also releasing them as a double update, we'll see.
But anyway, as I said, I think I have all the pictures I need now. In case I'm wrong, well, my desktop is currently crunching a backup of everything, so I can go re-shoot stuff if I need to. And it was good to take another backup just about now anyway. So I should be all set, and also, when I don't feel like writing, I can also go and play ahead the winter rotation, since I always have the backup if I realize I would have yet needed a picture. Yay!
So, all around things are good for the Bookacies right now. We'll see how long it takes me to actually write the updates, but at least at the moment I'm feeling quite optimistic and excited about that. Fingers crossed.
So, all's good. For a nice ending, have two takeout pictures from my photoshoot. Big weddings are big, and a lot of this has been going on:

Everyone else: "Sandy, Bill and Glen are romance sims."

Cyrus (and well, Cliff too apparently): "Chris is a popularity sim."
I suppose that's in-character. :D
