Winter picspam, part 2
Feb. 20th, 2012 10:50 pm![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
Didn't feel like firing up my game tonight, so I thought I'd do a bit more of the catching up on picspam. I've got three more houses today.
The Bruenig household
Author + Count Curtis -> Arthur + Pollination Technician -> Bailey + Marsha -> Cissy + Erik -> Dean, Dane
Salahuddin -> Marsha (adopted) + Bailey -> Cissy + Erik -> Dean, Dane
Okay, so in the first house, we've got the elders Bailey and Marsha, their daughter Cissy and her husband Erik, no children in the beginning of the rotation. And there's the cat, Alegra.

All is normal in this household. Remington and Alegra are still buddies. *hearts Remington*

Marsha and Bailey still both have the family secondary.

Awkward visitor is awkward. Sweetie, I don't think Marsha and Bailey would care to have you in the tub with them right now.

Erik keeps working hard for that LTW.

Also, awkward topics are awkward.

Or maybe not.

Sheesh, don't look so excited Erik, it's only your LTW!

Babies!

Marsha: "Yes, thank you very much, but we do not require your services on being stuck in our flower bench today anymore."
Leo the gardener: "Oh okay. Maybe in three days then?"

Barbara is also in Law Enforcement, and came home with Erik.

What's that you ask? Well that's Marsha finally making the 30 best friends she's wanted since probably college. Out of all the pop sims in her generation, it was the hardest for her for some reason. Probably because she's shy, only 2 outgoing points. In any case, congrats, Marsha!

Cissy made it to Education Minister, and now wants to be Icon. We'll see.

Yeah, Cissy and Erik have managed to get Cissy knocked up.

I think Marsha wanted a party, so why not. Parties are good.

Aadam and Joy had their own ideas of fun at the party.

Aww, totally autonomous! <3

Not sure what Joy wanted here, but I do think she might have had a locked want to meet a bigfoot - I wonder if one living with a family works for that. I don't think an urban bigfoot launches the fear so I don't know. Just wondering.

Alegra got old. She's a kitty I've actually liked, unlike some other pets around the hood.

Time for Cissy to go into labor and for the others to stand around uselessly.

Cissy gets a baby, Marsha gets to meet someone new. Fair deal.

"Dad, can you please hold this one?"

Meet Dean and Dane, twin boys of Cissy and Erik. Both apparently got Cissy's nose(lessness) and Erik's eyes. I'm embarassed to say, but I'm not sure which baby is which. Ahem. Well, I suppose we'll find out.

Apparently it's also possible for everyone to be asleep at the same time, even in a household of this size.

Interestingly, no one even woke up to cheer on officer Demi.

But luckily, she was able to beat the burglar on her own.

And despite the bad memory, the Bruenigs got a good night's sleep.
The Custer household
Author + Count Curtis -> Adson + Rebecca -> Barry + Laura -> Corinna + Weldon -> Dallan, Damon
Here we have the Custers. The elders are Barry and Laura, and the current adults are their daughter Corinna and her husband Weldon. At the beginning of the rotation there are no kids, but Corinna is pregnant.

Weldon would very much like to have 6 grandchildren, but while he's waiting for that to happen, he migh as well work. Architecture is his career of choice.

Laura appreciates a husband who can play the guitar.

And Marsha is, as usual, everywhere. That's why I always forget she's so shy.

Hey look, I got a magic lamp for someone who isn't a toddler! I think it was Weldon - the sim that has the lowest lifetime aspiration in the house.

Oh, and the family has three dogs. This is Leroy, one of the elders. Leroy's spouse is Lulu, and they have one grown female puppy in the house, Didi.

Ummm, Lucy... You might want to stand in the snow and mop the puddle, not the other way around.

Babies and grandbabies on the way!

Yes, in the plural. Corinna and Weldon don't even have the twins perk or anything.

So, meet Dallan and Damon Curster, twin sons of Corinna and Weldon. If I'm not completely mistaken, the blond one is Damon.
At first, I was wondering how come they could have a blond kid, but then I realized that Rebecca had originally, in her pre-zombie state, blonde hair, and that was her natural color. So the recessive must have passed first to Barry and then to Corinna, and finally little Damon got blond hair. Neat. :)

Weldon: "Must... put... baby... on floor... must... cheer... at baby..."

Ouch. My first doggie death in the hood, and I missed it. I didn't realize that Leroy was that old. Sorry Leroy. :(

I send also pet graves to the cemetary, hence the daytime apparition. Creepy ghost-Leroy is creepy.

Barry wanted to win a cooking competition, so I let him enter, having never seen one of the competitions. I think I tried once but somehow there weren't enough sims to take part.

And Barry won. :) Against the hobby lot chef, who made lobster thermidor. So I suppose those were pretty good pork chops.

"Heyyyy, everyone, Daddy's home, and Daddy just got demoted!"

Birthday time!

First Dallan...

... and then Damon.

They both crawled to dance to the stereo before anyone could even grab them for a potty break and a makeover.

Post-makeover pictures. I like dressing twins in similar clothes and hair, can you tell?

Also, Corinna and Weldon are not done at two kids, clearly.

Oh Lulu. I'm sorry. Have fun in the big doggie park in the sky, and say hi to Leroy. At least I didn't miss it this time.

I wonder if all dog ghosts are this creepy...

Goodbye, Leroy and Lulu. Rest in peace.
It doesn't show from the picture, but this is the same spare graveyard I send all non-mainline humans to. I sort of miss the ghosts a little bit, but I don't miss the lag or the havoc. Plus, I wouldn't dream of keeping the main house ghosts on the lot, because Alphabet Legacy.

Didi is now the only remaining dog here, but at least she's got two toddlers to keep her company.

Annnd, Corinna is heavily pregnant. Time to switch households!
The Jalowitz household
Author + Count Curtis -> Adrian + Nicole -> Baudolino + Marylena -> Cyrus + Chris
So this household contains someone you might actually remember. At the moment it's just the generation C spare Cyrus and his fresh wife Chris.

Okay, so I already showed you the actual wedding before I updated, so let's skip that. It was a great party, that's all.

The young couple got right at trying for a baby. Here's proof that Cyrus does on occasion take the initiative, and actually pretty enthusiastically it seems. Why he smokes like that I've no idea. Might be steam left over from a shower or something.

As a dormie, Chris is not as far along in her career as Cyrus, who already topped Athletic. But she's working hard on getting there.

Oh okay. I suppose I do get magic lamps for grown up sims too.

Chris is clearly of the opinion that since the first try didn't work, a new one is in order.

Chris brought this guy home from work, and apparently he and Cyrus came along just fine.

Cyrus seems to be pretty smiley when he tells other sims he's married now. Of course, in canon, everyone already knows since they saw it happen, but the real!wedding wasn't as big.

Cyrus tops the Dance career and makes his second LTW. Now he wants to be a City Planner. He might even get that, because he's Cyrus and a darling.

Cyrus also brought home a cold, so I wasn't quite convinced that would be a good idea, but Chris insisted.

Thankfully, she didn't catch it, but there was no lullaby either.

Playing some chess seemed to help with that nasty cold.

And finally, towards the very end of the rotation, all the trying pays off.

Chris seems pretty pleased, doesn't she?

Meeting someone new is one of Chris' favorite pastimes. And George likes it too.

Though I don't think she particularly wanted to meet this someone new. There's been several burlglaries this rotation, I suppose a two-member household like this is a bit of a sitting duck for Jessica there.

And on top of it all, justice doesn't even win.

I'd be embarassed too if I were you, you know?
But really, I don't mind the burglar, since there's a C & C baby on the way, and I think Chris is with me on this one. Cyrus might crumble a bit about being robbed, but in the end he won't complain because of course I buy them their stuff back, and they are having a baby.
Yes, Creator is excited as well. :)
Phew, that's it for today's three houses. More when I again get myself together on this front.
