Simming to-do (and other babble)

Today is a good day for sims stuff. First, because it's Sunday, and second, because I went to the gym yesterday and... let's say I kind of feel like sitting still. :P So, since I feel like I don't post enough these days, I'll start off by making a to-do for myself, and babbling.
So, leaving out any obvious goals like "complete the next chapter, then the one after that", here's a bit of a to-do for me (in no particular order):
1.Make a sticky post for my LJ. With legacy and apocalypse links and whatnot. DONE!
2.Post that way, way overdue BTS for Bookacy chapter 40. Seriously, it wouldn't even be that long, and it's been... *does not want to check how long* after the chapter went up. DONE!
3. Post the rest of generation C's who's whos. Actually even more overdue than #2. I should get to it before the generation starts turning grey...
4.Try posting regular "what I've done in simming" -entries. ONGOING
I think that's the most important I've had in my mind lately, so let's not bloat the list or I'll never get the entries checked off. A bit more babble about #4 in particular follows.
As I said, I've kind of felt that I don't post enough these days, even though I do something sims related, well, maybe not daily, but usually at least weekly. I've been inspired by
esmeiolanthe's recent practice of daily posts on "what I did today in simming" (on her tumblr). I should start sharing more on the everyday simming front, too, and I know regular status updates helped me keep focused when I successfully participated in SimStoCreMo the other year or so.
I don't think I can quite do daily, but maybe I could do weekly. I'm still debating on whether to use my LJ or my tumblr for this; LJ still feels like my simming home, but it's easier to post pictures on tumblr... (If anyone has any thoughts, feel free to say. :) )
Well, in any case, maybe I could start off in here, with some kind of starting stats. As of right now, before whatever I get done today, chaper 41 for the Bookacies stands at 48 slides written. Villains chapter 2 stands at 27 slides written.
This week I've completed one house in the college rotation and I'm working on another. All in all, I'm halfway through the first college rotation. In downloading, I finished going through leefish.nl for stuff I want, and I'm planning on getting to stuff by Michelle and NixNivis elsewhere, next. My fancy new downloads folder to be stands at 5,4 Gigs on disk (21449 files in 2804 folders).
So! Let's see if I can keep this up, but the intentions are good, in any case.

Date: Apr. 28th, 2015 03:54 pm (UTC)That's exactly what I'm going for, too. :) Lately I've felt like, well, I sim/write kind of regularly, but it might still easily be a month that I don't say anything, since I don't have a story update or any big picspam etc. yet. So I almost have to start every post by explaining how I'm still alive. :P I'm trying to rectify that, plus as a bonus, it could maybe motivate me into writing a bit more, too. Maybe.
I think so too; this feels like a fun plan, so I'm going to try it out. Thanks! :)
