katrisims | Weekly simming, 1/2015

Alright, so here goes my first actual entry on my weekly simming. I decided to go for LJ, since I think these will mostly be text, and posting a couple of pictures here or there is no big deal.

This week has been fairly productive sims-wise. I've played one full house in rotation, and I'm getting close to finishing another one. Only one more full house left after that before I'm back to the beginning of my rotation, and the main house. This is actually quite good for my usual pace these days. But admittedly, it's again made me wonder about the long time feasibility of playing the whole neighborhood.

Anyway, next rotation is going to be a tough one, as many of the elders - including Baudolino and possibly also Marylena - are about to go. On the plus side, there'll be more teenings - like Desdemona's - and more sims will go to college.

I've written 23 new slides on the next Bookacy chapter, putting me at 71 slides written currently. I'm still somewhat stuck on Villains, that remains at 27 slides, the same as last week. Downloads-wise, I've gone through NixedNivis' stuff and started on Michelle's.

Oh! I also got to cross off one item from my todo: making a sticky post for my LJ. Of course I forgot some things when I first posted it, so I edited it the next day with some additions. But now that's done, hopefully I'll get to cross off another thing soon.

Say hi to Dorian! I was going to say that if you follow the picspams and teen crew updates, you've already seen him, but I just realized he's not there! Now I'm wondering why not, and who else might be missing. I'll have to fix that with this next round of picspam.

Anyway, now you've seen Dorian. He's been a teen in my game for a while, but in the next chapter, he'll be a teen in the story too.

Next week is looking like a fairly busy one when it comes to real life, so we'll see how much progress I can make then. Also, I'm trying to make Sunday my reporting day for this weekly simming thing, but of course that may not always work out. Next week may possibly be one of those times. But in that case, I'll try to do it on a day which is not Sunday!
