Weekly simming 9/2015

Another week over, they're passing by like mad!
Well, not terribly much to report really. This week was fairly busy when it comes to real life, so I didn't get hugely much done. I mostly played my BaCC foundress at her first business. It's going nicely, things are picking up, but earning a lot of money does take some time.
I've also been dealing with a rather obscure issue that I suspect is a hack issue. You see, it's got something to do with the ticket machine, and high custom prices. Somehow, the ticket machine doesn't like those sometimes. When I set a high price and try to sell the tickets to customers, the sales interaction seems to start fine, but then glitches out without completing, and I have a hard time selling anything. Once when that happened, the ticket machine also reset itself to what the game considers an "average" price. And a couple of times my playable sim has gotten all stuck and confused and I've had to quit without saving. Problem is, it seems the problems don't always occur when I set a high price, so I don't know whether I've managed to eliminate the problem or not.
So currently I'm playing forward and at the same time, shuffling hacks in and out to see if I can fix the problem. I suppose at some point I'll be happy that I've eliminated it, even though it's hard to know whether it's really to case.
I've also tried to keep up with writing as I go, though I'm a little behind currently. Oh, and for the new challenge, I made a new Dreamwidth account, here. (Nothing really there yet.) I'm not sure of the final look yet, but at least I've got something that doesn't hurt my eyes. And I've written three Bookacy slides it seems, putting me on slide 118.
So, progress keeps happening, at its own, slow pace. Same old, same old. :)
