MOAR babies!

I've been shooting some plottiness lately, but that's not what I'll show you today - no spoilers. =) I've also played a little bit of rotation here and there when I've felt more like just playing. The plottiness has kinda messed up my rotation order a bit.

The last family I've played are the Patches. And well, I would have thought two popularity sims would be perfectly happy with one child.



It was the first day of the rotation when Bianca and Ramin's ACR timers went off. And the result? A lullaby. Well, at least Abraham and Kendra would be very happy. Both had "have a grandchild" in their want panels (Kendra is Family, and Abrahm's secondary is Family), so I just locked those.

So the following events were kind of unsurprising:





Meet Connor Patch, the son of Bianca and Ramin Patch, the grandson of Abraham and Kendra Patch, and the brother of Carla Patch.

Speaking of Carla, this is what's been up with her:


"Yikes! I'm dancing with a really hot guy!"

Yep. But Carl is off limits. Sorry, girl.


I'm not sure Carl agrees with me, though. He would even have charmed her at one point, but I told him not to. It's funny, I've seen a lot of non-ACR autonomous charming lately. It's rarely happened to me before. I don't know what's changed.

I interpreted the situation so that Carla wanted someone to date. So, I did a little bit of nudging and invited Randy London over. The start didn't seem too promising.



But it did start to go better.



Carla was quite happy. She may not have rolled the want for a first kiss, but she did want to be friends with Randy. I guess that was one way to be friends with Randy.

Other than that, not terribly much going on.


Ramin is working on those 20 best friends still, and is getting pretty close. (Maybe Connor was his strategy of easier friend making.) I let him throw a party, and this is what some of the guests did. I bought the basketball thing so I'd see if any of the family were into sports. I only know so far that Carla's OTH is fitness.


Kendra zoned about cooking. Here she is blogging about it. She'd also been rolling some buy wants due to her hobbies (buy a more expensive stove etc.), so I gave her a secondary of fortune.


So that's what's up with that line of the family. Only a mini-picspam this time. As said, I'm working on the next chapter, but it's not very close yet. Anyway, every now and then I just need to play. =)

Yay picspam! :) It's very interesting to see what pairings will decide to have additional children. I have Pop/Pop that are happy with one kid and I have Pop/Pop that kept trying and hit three. Most non family tend to stop at two, but there's a handful that will go for three. A lot of it has to do with lucky rolls and age.

Yeah I think that with Bianca and Ramin it was already a lucky roll - they were about 10 days from elder when it happened. And they rolled one below the limit, too. It's funny, I'd thought they wouldn't go for another one, but somehow when I saw the relax actions in their queues, I felt that I knew...

It's fun seeing what kinds of numbers my sims decide to go for. So much for my "each spare gets tops one child, family sims can have two" policy! Oh well, I think this is more fun. =)

Yeah, so it's starting to seem... But well, I guess my "each spare can have one child" policy was long out of the window anyway. =D Now I'll just sit back and enjoy the population explosion.
