Weekly simming 14/2015

katrisimsPhew, I've been hardworking this week!
I started out with some organization work. I'd noticed that most of the Slideshare embeds on the Bookacy Dreamwidth had stopped working, presumably because of changes in how Slideshare works. They weren't really presentable that way, so I went and re-embedded them for prettier posts. With that out of the way, I made Boolprop threads for both the Bookacies and the Villains.
I also finally got around to writing the rest of the upcoming Bookacy chapter - you didn't see that coming, did you? I sure didn't! It's currently on 138 slides and needs yet a re-read, a title and a cover. In other Bookacy news, I also got around to posting that way overdue behind the scenes post for chapter 40. It's a short one, because the last chapter was a recap.
On the Lakewood side of things, I finished playing Pascal's first week and managed to post an update on it, too. And just today, I made a new sim for the challenge (spent a CAS sim, that is), plopped them on a lot and built Lakewood's first unowned community lot - because now I've got four households.
It seems that starting a new challenge was a good thing for me. It's got me playing, writing and updating. And I think the good feeling from making progress and posting updates on that has helped me on the writing side for Bookacies, too. I've been feeling stuck and even frustrated at times, but now I'm feeling better about that too.
Of course, the reason why this has been such a good week simming-wise is that I've been on vacation, and there's been no work to distract me from my hobbies. That's obviously going to change when I go back to work after next week, but here's hoping I've got another productive week ahead before that!
