Take that, real life, sickness, distraction and excuses! We're back with the first part of week 2. I hope you enjoy, and as always, comments are welcome wherever they're most convenient for you. :)
Yeah, Lizzie was suddenly more pregnant than she was supposed to be. :) According to Google, it's a glitch related to visiting community lots while pregnant, whether controllable or uncontrollable. I'm not sure if it might come in two variants: Lizzie had her second bump early, but I've also had it happen that I'd expect someone to have the second bump and it never came, or at least I never saw it. In both cases, the sim would still give birth when they were supposed to. I've had the "never get a second bump" version way back when I had like only up to NL or so (I think it may have happened with Author way back then). But well, fortunately it doesn't seem to be game-breaking, so it's all good.
That's a good point. So whenever someone buys something that's not sold in Lakewood yet, I can use mail order as an excuse. Excellent!
Hmm, good questions! They're both in some kind of limbo since they're not playable, but maybe even regardless the age difference isn't that big. Food for thought if they ever become playable, at least.
Me too. Same with engagement and marriage wants, they get locked on the spot. Especially these days that there are so many other things for sims to want and they're are a rare treat of sorts.
The baby clothes are adorable. :) Though I tend to have difficulty remembering to use them, since I've played so long without them.
Maybe she is! We'll see how things turn out in the future rotations. All in all, the townies' romantic relationships are kind of all over the place. And not only them. *cough* Lizzie *cough*. As for the phrase "sugar daddy", I don't think we have a word for that in Finnish, at all really. By quick googling, it seems that the English term is used when the phenomenon is talked about. Interesting. Well, maybe in the future there will be a word for it!
It was pretty wondrous in Ajay's case. Usually my sims take at least until the next night to heal, but Ajay was healthy in only few hours. Well, no complaints there!
Thanks for the suggestion, I think I have to consider that quite seriously. It's not a time or two I've heard of legacy portraits being eaten by a glitch or a rebuild or some such.
Thanks, Esme! And thanks for reading and commenting! ^^
