I've been meaning to post some picspam for a while, but you know, real life. It gets in the way sometimes. As does laziness. Today I've finally been able to achieve a goal: Cyrus, the eldest of generation C, jumped on a cab just this evening and drove off to college, yay! A lot of other stuff has been happening lately, too, but the problem is, I can't show most of it yet! Spoilery, you see. But anyway, let's see...

Well, I've been playing several households, as always. Let's start with some miscellaneous stuff from the extended family.

In the Thayer household, there's been some dating going on. Clarissa is a pleasure sim, so she got a date.

Apparently she quite liked said date.

Clarissa isn't the only one doing dating in the household, though. Thomas and Bonnie are working hard on those 50 dream dates for Thomas. According to my notes, they are at 40 now. This sometimes results in... ahem... less than appropriate clothing in some occasions. Clarissa and Clyde got into private school anyway.

Meanwhile, what is Arthur up to? Well, I tell him to rake the leaves so he has something semi-productive to do, and the next time I look? This. Arthur <3.

The teens have been enjoying some wintertime fun, too.

Romance is what's up in the Bruenig household, too. With only a little bit of nudging, family sim Cissy pops the lock with the paperboy Alon.

Marsha and Bailey don't need any nudging. Though I do think that Marsha didn't agree to Bailey's statement there - and she's who gets the last word, right?

In the Thayer/Fairchild household, little Cliff grew up, and I gave him a party. Or really his daddy, who for once wanted a party instead of fearing one.

The party was... ahem... a success. I'm glad Bill and Sandy have a sort of an open deal and are not married. Bill was one of the reasons why I got ACR in the first place - I felt bad for him, since under my command, he'd never get much romance sim action. He should be a happier camper now I think.

Oh and the birthday boy? He grew up pretty adorable. =)

In the main house, life's gone on as usual. Adrian and Nicole have been as affectionate as ever.

As have Baudolino and Marylena. The two of them didn't even care that a tablefull of customers were playing Mahjong behind their back.

It seems they didn't get traumatized, either, because in some time, Baudolino managed to get enough stars to get the business to level ten. Four down, one to go! At the moment Baudolino's fifth business is on level three - he bought Tyke's Tower Toys.

Gotta love these sims, that's all I can say about this one.

Nicole has given her old business to Marylena. I was first planning to give it to Bill, but it turned out that apparently the game does not let me give a business to someone who's not a member of the same household. So I gave it to Marylena, and she's been visiting it. Not really to gain stars, but to earn some extra money. She wants to earn 100 000 simoleans after all.

Playing games in outwear is the new black.

We've seen a cute townie couple, too. They're not my first, but probably the most stalkerish so far.

Charlie has been getting started on that first date marathon. I think he has a grand total of three or something.

Dating in the snow leads to some funsies.

We also got a magic lamp. According to memories, it's Charlie's. I don't know what to do with it yet, but I've put it in his inventory.

I've been entertaining myself with Adrian's new ability to conjure grilled cheese. Not that he needs to eat any more of those sandwiches, but he genuinely likes those I guess. And I like him. Plus the animation is cute.

As I've mentioned, I recently lost Nicole. It was sad, and I'm currently dreading that Adrian will go very soon, I've actually been expecting him to go a couple of sim days now. But he did make it through the winter. Nicole didn't. Rest in peace, Nicole, you were an awesome sim and you will be missed.

On a happier note, my teens have been hardworking. Cyrus topped his teen career and became an overachiever. In fact, there has been a lot more up with Cyrus, but can't show you more yet.

They've all been skilling a lot, too. Cho's actually been rolling so many advanced skill point wants that I gave her a knowledge secondary.

George is also around, collecting fireflies for example. And dating. Not as frequently as I would have liked, since there has been fuss in the house, but dating nevertheless.

And then there's Sal, of course. With him, there's also a lot going on, but that would of course be spoilery, so nope, not saying anything yet...

So that's it for my picspam today. That's just about all I can show whithout giving anything away... Now I think I'll need to head to bed, so nighty night!

Seems like oodles of fun in Alphabetia! There's definitely some enjoyment of ACR going on there. Also, as someone currently dealing with the 50 First Dates LTW, I feel your pain! Marco got 17 as a Teen and has a locked Want for 20. He's one date away from that. 20 down, only 30 to go... *sobs* At least you're only on the C generation; poor Marco has to contend with five generations' worth of ghosts every time a date lasts past 7pm!

Also YAY for another top-level business!

Yep, lots of fun, and some of it ACR fun! Oh I feel for you, with the 50 first dates want. I can't believe I'm doing it again so soon, but so it seems... Because I like Charlie. Oh man, I'm so happy I have the graveyard, I couldn't possibly deal with it with the ghosts - let alone all the ghosts I'd have in the long run. Good luck, I definately feel your pain there!

YAY indeed! One more to go, and then I'm FINALLY done. Except that Bill only has three of them currently... Sigh. Oh well, at least Baudolino will be done soon...ish. =)

Yay! I sometimes feel like I'm moving at the pace of a snail, but at least I'm moving. =) The last one, well it should be cake compared to doing the first four... Still gotta go that extra mile, though. Then I get to turn around and do two more businesses for Bill. Oh well, gotta have goals, right? =)
