Weekly simming 6/2016

Pretty decent progress this week.

In the beginning of the week, I started playing the Davidsons, and continued during the weekend. I'm currently in Friday morning, and because the high levels in the Business career don't have work on weekends, it looks like Ajay will likely be one promotion away from that coveted Business District. Dammit! I'm even considering allowing an extension to their rotation, just long enough for Ajay to come home from work on Monday. That's how bad I want the BD.

I've also started writing the related update. I'm not quite up to where I've played with it, but at least I've got something. The relaxed Lakewood updates are pretty easy to write, thankfully.

On the Bookacy side of things, I've kept arranging the pictures from the last main house session. It's slow going, but little by little that's progressing too.

I did exactly what you're thinking about: extending the rotation until Monday around 6pm for that very reason after both Diane and Ciel were primed to top Business on Monday. (I didn't implement it until after I played their households, so those BDs are still waiting in the wings, but moving forward that ain't gonna happen *cackle*)

Oh, right, I could extend this particular rotation for *everyone* until a set time, like 6 pm on Monday, and not just for the Davidsons. That isn't really cheating, because everyone still gets played the same amount of time. I was considering just giving the Davidsons a little bit more of time, but I would have felt a bit guilty about that. I like this better. Thanks Lorin! :)

The perfectionist in me said I should wait to implement the new cut-off at the beginning of a rotation, but dang it, this is a marathonnnnnn, not a sprint, and it makes not one whit of difference this early on, other than throwing us a bone to help us feel like we're making tangible progress, however small in the scope of this challenge that may be!

You'll get the business district! I think extending your rotation is okay as long as you extend everybody.

Crossing fingers that all goes well and Ajay unlocks it on Monday! I think so too and that's my plan. The nice thing is that the Davidsons are the first in rotation so it's easy to adjust the whole rotation based on them.
