I made use of the time that I needed to sit in vechiles; I think I should do that more often, based on the amount of stuff I got written this time. To be fair, I did sit in vechiles quite a bit, too. In any case, here's part of the fruit of my labor. I hope you enjoy the chapter, and as always, comments are welcome wherever you might feel inclined to leave them!

Hooray, TPC! ;D I keep saying I'm going to play a BaCC one of these days, but I'm so bad about keeping notes and scores. D: Though I especially like the idea of playing different challenges within it.

(Playing Sims while riding in a car would make me so motion sick! I envy people who don't suffer from it.)

You know, I have never had a sim actually FINISH restoring the old junker. :/ Though it's one of those things they won't do autonomously and I've turned into such a hands off player. Same goes for gold badges in sewing and pottery. :P

Their kids are adorable! John and Brandi's genetics mix quite well. Darren Dreamer makes cute kids, too.

Yeah, I always heard that the Golden Anniversary LTW can only be accomplished if there's been no cheating. I'll be curious to see if that's true or not!

Hi Fuzzy, welcome aboard! ^^

I can recommend a BaCC, it's been a lot of fun, especially with the different side challenges. Of course, I also enjoy the notes and scores; I generally always play for points whenever the challenge calls for it. What I do is I always keep the score sheet open (I play in windowed mode) and mark the change whenever something affecting the score happens, so I don't forget. I don't yet have score sheets for all the side challenges, but I really should make those.

(I don't play while riding a car, my sims are on a desktop, but I can write on my laptop if I transfer the text and images. Of course, if you have motion sickness, writing may be no good too. :/ )

I think this was my second time finishing the junk car, the first one was in my apocalypse, where a car can be really helpful. I'm generally quite hands on (not quite the micro manager I was earlier, but still) but it's not many times my sims have had a junk car in the first place.

Thanks. :) I'm happy with the genetic mixes I've got so far, both in the TPC and in the BaCC in general.

Yeah, I'm curious about that too. Some claim it's possible with cheating / being caught cheating if the relationship has been fully restored. I guess we'll find out in due time! :)

Thanks for reading and commenting!

How frustrating about the car! I'm quite new to FT, so I don't have any good advice, but I hope it gets sorted out soon.

...Oh good, it did!

I remembre seeing an article not too long ago about a RL female-female couple who both got pregnant at the same time. It was pretty chaotic, IIRC. Sims seem to have it a bit easier. (And congratulations on the illegitimate baby, BTW!)

Pooh, if John is going to have an illegitimate baby, he can have things a bit harder! That's only fair. *nodnod*

EDIT: Sorry! Too fast on the mouse! :(

I like Jeff's overalls! Where did you get them?

If Jack really is a clone of Jeff, you can fix it with a little judicious use of the SimBlender and/or Sim Manipulator. Different hairstyles can help a lot too.

Maybe Jeff got the A+ for being really good at sports. Some schools in areas with a lot of trailer parks will do that. Or maybe he's just one of those kids that won't end up staying in the trailer park.

If you can't afford to *buy* a dog, could you perhaps adopt a stray? That's harder, but challenge-legal.

Hand-me-downs are very much in keeping with the spirit of a TPC. *nodnod*

You're doing well on the BACC! Congratulations, and keep it up! :D

It was pretty frustrating, but fortunately there was an easy solution for the problem. The next time they get a junk car, I'll know.

Oh, I can imagine it must be really chaotic in real life - thank goodness this is only the sims! Thanks, I'm quite happy that it worked out. :)

Heh well, it was technically me who wanted the illegitimate baby, and I'll admit I did some pushing to get one, so John was pretty innocent there. Both Brandi and John actually seem reluctant to cheat, but because of the challenge and the scoring, I try to make them anyway. ;) At least that was one pregnancy that Brandi didn't have to do, the last one was quite hard on her. We'll see how the fourth obligatory one ends up being. I was originally hoping for an alien baby, but I don't think there's a realistic chance that they'll be able to afford the expensive telescope this generation.

Thanks, I do think they look pretty cute on him. :) Let me see, those seem to be the Pigsqueak overalls by fakepeeps7 at MTS.

I'm not really good at recognizing genetics, so I can't tell whether the boys are clones or not. It doesn't really bother me, since as you said, already hairstyles make a big difference. I think I'll just go with giving them different looks with clothes and hair and forget about it.

Yeah, who knows about the grades. As a kid, he's allowed to do his homework, and wants to, too, so this is the result. We'll see how things go later on.

Adopting a stray would be an option, yes. I've never done that before, so not sure how much work that would be, and I don't think I've seen a lot of strays on the lot. We'll see which comes first, having the money to buy (or technically, adopt) a dog, or having the relationship to adopt a stray one.

Hand-me-downs are pretty much the only option that the family had finance-wise, so I'm pretty glad that it also works for the spirit of the challenge.

Thank you, and thank you for reading and commenting! :)
