Hey look, it's the Slowest Legacy on Earth! It's been less than a year (maybe days less, but less nevertheless...), and I've already posted a Lakewood update this week! What is this madness? Oh, right, it's called summer vacation.

I'm glad Dirk and Daniela are getting along well! Out of curiosity, what are your personal rules about your sims marrying relatives? I know the main line needs to marry not-playables, but what about the rest of the clan?

I'm glad Dirk and Reed are getting along well too. Friends are awesome, and I believe Dirk has an unattached little sister? ;)

The Greek House seems pretty successful. That's a good thing. :) The party looks like it was a big success, too.

I think that when I was Desdemona's age, EVERYONE was already quite old. I remember thinking how old my parents were, and they were younger then than I am now, and I'M not old...

Cho and Nicholas seem happy in their new careers, which is good.

Ooooo, the plot is back! And Komei is involved! This will be interesting...

I think Dirk is getting along well with just about everyone so far. It's nice to have someone you already know there when you go to college, and Daniela is one of those sims for Dirk. As for marriage, generation D is the first one with third cousins, so I think we'll see some intermarrying this generation. Daniela is one of the sims who's likely to be settled already, she and Damien Hamilton called dibs on each other pretty much the moment they set foot in college. I'd technically have nothing against second cousins pairing up (around here it's legal to even marry a first cousin), but I prefer third cousins and further for genetic variety.

Yes, Desdemona is as of now unattached. :) She's only recently become a teenager, so all options are still open for her.

The Greek House is still doing pretty well. It's a bit quiet right now with only Dirk and Robin around, but that's about to change as Dani has already hit college, and Dorian will after next rotation. (Although with my speed of playing "about to" may not be the correct expression. :P)

Yeah, funny how ages seem completely different when grown up. And it continues to change, it seems. My Mom told me a story from maybe a decade ago. She and my Grandmother were frequently on the phone, and Grandmother had been talking about this "nice boy" who'd been giving my Grandfather physiotherapy. Well, one time it happened that my Mom went visiting as this physiotherapist was around and got to meet him in person. Well, it turned out that the "nice boy" was in his sixties or so. :D

It was really sad to lose Baudolino and Marylena, it was really why I was avoiding playing the 'hood for about a half a year. It was still hard, but it was time. Goodbye, Baudolino, goodbye, Marylena. :(

I'm quite happy with how Desdemona turned out. She's quite gorgeous, and she rolled an aspiration that I think will suit her. I'm looking forward to getting to play her more. :)

I think changing careers was good for both of them. Cho especially had her new LTW for quite a long time but there weren't any openings before. I suppose for the plot it's nice that it came up now when she needed to change things up a bit.

Yes, plot is coming back, and Komei will be part of it! It feels so nice to be able to plot again, I've missed it. I at least semi-purposefully left a door open to plot by letting Komei and Lauren be on free foot, and now that's coming in handy. I was hoping to speed things up by downplaying plot, and I suppose to an extent that worked - even though the bigger factor to the slowness is the huge extended family - but it seems that I can't go without plot for too long!
