Spring in Alphabetia - picspam!

Alright, long time no post. So it's about time I showed some picspam - especially now that I'm done with the spring rotation, yay! Next I got to figure out what to do with the college rotation system, before I start either playing Cyrus and Bobby more, or adding new students to houses. And I suppose I should also slowly start putting the beginning of the next chapter together.
But anyway, here's some picspam from the past spring rotation. There's been some sadness when the elders have passed on, and there's been some main house stuff, and those I'm mainly skipping.

So, let's start with Bill and Ira. They're as adorable as ever, even though closing in on elderhood.

They only got a partial rotation, because Claire grew up and went to college.

But not before helping her daddies with Bill's fourth business, with ended up around level four. It's a family effort, and will continue on full speed when Claire comes back home.

She also couldn't go before she'd wrecked havoc with the Alphabetia boys' hearts. Claire had already had a first kiss with Ricky the romancer, but she brought Alvin Futa from school, and he seemed to be of the opinion that he, too, should have his first kiss with Claire.

I don't think Claire objected to that.

Also, Bill has been gardening quite some, since basically he doesn't have much to do when he's at home. And I guess when I next play this house I can start reaping the rewards, just as with the main house. Hooray!

Next up are Beth and Sean. Sean's been working hard on his body skill, since after becoming Captain Hero, he wants to become a Hall of Famer.

It isn't always easy, though.

Beth got a second career LTW as well - and she made it pretty fast to Captain Hero. Now she, too, wants to go the athlete way, we'll see if I indulge.

Other than that, what else have two popularity sims been doing with their time? Well, surprise, surprise, making new friends and having parties.

Sean and Ira refreshed their golden memories of college.

Adson still has that something, it seems. He and Rebecca are no longer part of the rotation, as Rebecca is now immortal, and I don't want to be constantly stuffing Adson with elixir to keep him young. Plus my rotation takes long enough without them, so they just hang around with a couple of other unplayed households, like count Pao's and some placeholding families.

And while the adults party, what does my geeky little romancer do? That's right, he sits at the computer. There's a reason why his secondary is knowledge.

Well, he's not really that bad. He knows how to have fun, too, at least if he's nudged a bit.

Not that everyone always appreciates his concept of fun, though.

Charlie also enjoyed the family's pool while visiting.

Carl also enjoyed the pool, but in a slightly different manner. Whoever female guest that is trying to jump into the pool, did not appreciate this.

Carl, too, ended up going to college eventually.

In the Thayer household, not terribly much was up. In addition to Bonnie and Thomas, also Clarissa got to date a bit.

The family got a puppy. Several sims wanted one, so I gave in.

I tried if Clyde would be interested in some ACR action with girls, after all his token says he's straight.

Well, so far he hasn't quite known how to woo a girl.

In my game, only good little sims who have done their homework, get to sneak out. That's why they're all so hardworking.

This one time though, there was a little accident. Clarissa was silly enough to choose her sneak out route through the room where her father currently was. She noticed, tried to spurt through the room, but Thomas caught her all the same, and she got lectured - and didn't get to go anywhere. I think she must have been my first sim ever to get caught sneaking out; imagine that, after all these years I've been playing. I've had plenty gotten busted and brought home by cops, but never caught by their own parents. I felt especially bad for Clarissa, as both twins were sneaking out that night, and Clyde was in the same room, and he got to sneak out just fine, because Thomas was apparently too busy scolding his daughter that he didn't notice that while he did so, his son sneaked out under his very eyes.
Don't worry though. Clarissa got to sneak out successfully the next night. This time, I took care that there were no intruding parents on the way.

The Thayers also became the first of the clan to join the garden club. They got in just fine, but as the elders were on the verge of death and wanted to join the garden club, I was a bit hasty and didn't get the wishing well. And I actually failed in my goal - Meadow died while the inspection was in progress, and the wish did not get fulfilled. Not that it mattered, both she and Arthur have been permaplat for ages, but it was still a slight bummer.

As I mentioned before, I've started losing the gen. A elders. Adrian and Nicole are both gone from the main house, and (from left to right) Meadow, Arthur and Kendra are now resting in peace in the newly built spare graveyard. Abraham is hanging on by the skin of his teeth, and will follow Kendra most likely the next time I play the house. I'll leave the sad stuff at this picture, and say only that it's been a sad rotation in this sense.

What about the Bruenigs, then, apart from the crazy party that got a separate picspam entry a while ago? Well, as I mentioned before, Marsha did make it to Captain Hero. After that, she wanted to become General, and I started working on that. And yes, she and Bailey both now have the family secondary, they just somehow both seemed the type.

Cissy's cat gathers a lot of attention from the visitors who Marsha keeps bringing home in numbers.

Alegra also likes to sing along with the stereo, which gives me the giggles.

Less than surprisingly, Bailey skills.

And the kids sneak out. After finishing their homework.

Chip is also very cute with his acceptable dating target, Tosha. I don't know what will happen in the future, though, as Tosha is family and Chip earned (partly due to his other, not so acceptable dating target) the secondary of romance. Time will show.

Cissy, who's been seeing Alon the paperboy, threw a little flirt at Gavin here.

But luckily for Alon, Gavin was more interested in smustling with Chip in the end.

Chip is another teen who is currently in the student bin, waiting to be moved into a dorm.

In the Patch household, a lot of the action was centered around little Connor, who begun the rotation as a baby, but soon became a very adorable toddler.

Big sister Carla was proud to help Connor figure out the walking thing.

And she's not the only one who adores the little tyke.

Connor became a child towards the end of the rotation, and stayed as cute as ever. He's about the same age as his second cousin Cliff, so he's bound to have a playmate from next door.

Connor's toddler training had to be interrupted at one point, to prevent the boy from being utterly traumatized for life. This was because the Custers, Barry and Laura, invited themselves in, and headed straight for the jacuzzi. When I realized what they had in mind, I had Ramin grab Connor and head downstairs. And then I giggled, again.

Also from the Patch household, have a picture of Remington Harris dancing badly. Carla wasn't going to college just yet, so instead of the goodby picture, you get this.

Next door, in the Thayer/Fairchild household, there is also a child, Cliff. Cliff's lifetime aspiration meter was apparently high, since the matchmaker dropped by to bring him a magic lamp. I'd never tried one, and he wanted to make a wish, so I did so. Now it seems that his wish succeeded and Cliff is a permanent platinum child. Not that I mind of course, I just hope this doesn't make me lazy playing him.

The adults have been doing what they most like.

Though not necessarily always with each other. I think it's only fair that Sandy, too, gets to have some action just like Bill. But how did Bill react to this?

No, he's not mad at Sandy. Why is he upset then? Because he couldn't join Sandy and the redhead in the tub. Honestly, he tried at least three times. Bill, darling, I'm sorry but the game doesn't allow that kind of stuff!

Cliff, thankfully, is blissfully unaware of his parents' doings. He's just a happy go lucky kid, that's all.

There was also a kitten birthday in this household. Yes, there are beginning to be too many pets around, I can't keep track of them!

There are also often guests about, sometimes having interesting discussions in the tub while Bill and Sandy are otherwise occupied.

And sometimes something completely baffling happens. I've got no idea why this guy suddenly cried in the middle of the kitchen. Other than apparently his aspiration was low. Why this was so, I have no idea.

The Custer household is probably the most eventful one in the rotation. With two parents, four kids and two dogs, I don't know how it could not. Here Leroy is getting to know little Christa, the youngest of four girls, and Christa is loving it.

The family has the most adorable mail carrier ever. He always stops to pet the dogs - and sometimes a random stray wolf in the process, too.

I got a girl dog a while ago, I'll be crazy enough to attempt puppies at this house - but only when it's emptier than it is now. The digs are getting along nicely, but someone hasn't yet learned not to occupy my sims' beds.

A lot of stuff concentrated on little Christa - had to get her some attention, had to get her to be buddies with the other girls, had to get her good grades, had to get her to private school. All this succeeded, and mind you, was fun too.

Also, for the record, the "summon aliens" perk works.

Don't look so shocked, Chloe, you're a knowledge sim.

Now that's better. The parents were asleep at the time, but the two other teens (family and popularity) were awake. And how did they react?

Chloe's twin sister, Calista (pop) laughed like it was the joke of the year that her sister got abducted by the aliens, and the first-born, Corinna (family) cheered at the event. I wouldn't have thought these would be the reactions! Well, Corinna got a knowledge secondary out of this, apparently she likes aliens. :)

The rest of the stuff was a little more usual. Just some visting couples being ACR cute...

Old buddies meeting up and having a fun time, the usual teen stuff.

And in the end, Corinna said her goodbyes and headed for college.
The last house in the rotation is that of Aadam and Joy. They got a holiday with the girls.

Much fun was had, and Beatrice's axe throwing faces are scary. As are actually many of the faces she makes, even though she's not a particularly mean sim even, I've had meaner.

Aadam got his second LTW, Hand of Poseidon, and in the end of the rotation, Entertainment finally came up on the computer, so Joy can also now work on her second LTW.

Barbara got a couple of dates, just so she'd get rid of want panel spam and maybe score a first kiss in the process.

The first drop was a no go. I was optimistic and thought "Maybe they'll actually get along." Yeah right.

On the second try, things went better.

Much better.

Well, except maybe for the fact that her brother was also visiting, and was a little protective. But Barbara the popularity sim just made frieds with him, assured him that she wanted no harm to her date, and was platinum. For making new friends.

Finally, Aadam got old. It was about time, he's almost a generation behind. Joy comes only a few days after him, so next rotation.

I like his new look, and he seems to agree. He, like Meadow was, is the type that starts to look like they need glasses when they get old.
Phew. I think that's about it for what's going on in Alphabetia currently. So yeah, I've been playing some. :) Note to self: next time post picspam earlier to avoid a typing marathon... Anyway, next time I think it's time for some college makeovers!
