Aw, William's not that bad!

What's William's chemistry with Reagan? She's not a bad candidate for spouse. ADDENDUM: Although neither is Chloe.

As far as sitting in silence, that's an introvert thing, I think. If you can sit in silence with someone and feel comfortable, then you can be really good friends.

William is a bit of a grouch, but I've already grown to like him. :) As for his facial features, they are strange, but they go together in a weird way. I expect the combinations in his children to look much more unfortunate, actually.

I don't remember off the bat, but I think William and Regan wouldn't have great chemistry, as Regan is a Fortune sim and William is Pleasure. But what's more of a problem with Regan is she's already married, and gay. ;) Chloe is Romance, which tends to work with Pleasure, and despite her early adventures with Daniel Fortunato, she was nicely unattached.

Oh, yes, IRL sitting in silence totally happens, and could be an introvert thing too. Depends much on the personalities in question. In sims though, I don't think I'd ever seen that before, my sims always babble over meals regardless of outgoing points. Well, I suppose there's a first for everything.
