Lakewood BaCC: Week 3, Part 6 + Weekly simming 34/2016

Finally got the next Lakewood update typed up! I hope you enjoy the update, and as usual, comments are welcome wherever you might feel inclined to comment. :)


While I'm at it, I'll do a quick Weekly simming. Other than the above, not hugely much to report. I've been mostly writing the update, plus playing that new TS4 legacy I started for curiosity and fun. I'm documenting, but for now I'll keep it unpublished. We'll see if I can get further along, then I'll consider again. So far it's been fun. :)

Oh, and I did play the Patches a little bit yesterday, forwarded the grandparent vacation. But then my back started acting out and I called it a day. Oh well.

Anyway, that has been this week's simming. We'll see about the situation again next week!

Speaking of comments... I could've sworn that I left you comments on all but your most recent chapter, but looking back I see that I missed multiple chapters. I don't know how that happened, and I apologize! So here goes...

Er, yes, taking the whole "gay" thing into consideration is pretty important...

Those scrolls are worth $300 each, aren't they? And the gold frog is pretty pricey too. But of course, so are walls and roofs.

I agree: if it was an honest mistake, you shouldn't be penalized for making it and then fixing it. Deliberate "mistakes," of course, are another story.

You can force the locals to learn the greetings and dances by making them briefly playable and using Treeag's Book of Talent. The only thing that still won't work is the hidden lot -- custom vacation destinations don't have them, and it takes some doing to make one of your own.

...Aaaaand I see you already knew about that and put in the work. Don't mind me...

I think the sexy lamp thing came from a conversation in someone's game that was woohoo-lamp-woohoo, thereby making "sexy lamp"?

Oh, I was of the opinion that you were up to date, too. Hmm, I don't really know what happened either. But surprise comments are always nice! ^^

I thought so too! Fortunately, we've got a lot of time to get from pretty to ugly here.

The scrolls are pretty nice and expensive, that's right. At least 300 I think, possibly 400. I don't remember about the frog, but I think that wasn't completely peanuts either.

Glad you agree! Goofs are bound to happen sometimes, that's just life.

Thanks for the tip! I'm not 100% sure if I tried to fix the locals already, I think I may have with the Townie Brick. But I haven't tested them again as Bella is so far the only sim who's gone on vacation. I'll have to keep that in mind for the future, in any case. Oh, yeah, it did take a bit of work to make a functional secret lot, but it was fun. :) Now I'm wondering if there was some slight issue with it, like one of the broken items not being accessible or something... It's been too long!

Hmm, that might well be. I think lamps were a frequent hot tub discussion topic and somehow they became sexy on the way. It would make sense if it had to do with discussions of woohoo. Again, it's been so long!
