Okay, so I'm a little late and all, but I gave in and signed up for the Myshuno event over at simspiration. I don't promise to make any deadlines or anything, but let's say I'll try it for the fun. :)

Yesterday or so I realized how close the plumbing renovation is. I also realized I need to make some preparations, at least if I want to avoid being here as much as possible during the renovation.

Alright, time for two more houses worth of picspam, the Custer house and the Jalowitz house. I've actually played four, but no way am I going to try to post them all at once like I tried last time. So, on with the picspam!

Okay, so, I believe I sort of promised some picspam from my rotation. Now, you shall receive, and receive a LOT. This picspam covers four houses: the Phillips, the Rileys, the Thayers and the Bruenigs, and altogether it has some 200+ pictures. Technically, the Camerons should be between the Thayers and the Bruenigs in rotation, but I've skipped playing them for now, as I'm not yet sure if I want to do some merging of households there this rotation.

Apparently, I even need to split the intended first part into two parts. So here's the first part, with 100+ pictures. But, here we go:

*peeks in* So, umm... Here I am again. What'd I miss? :)

So, since I last posted, the busyness went on as planned, with the concert, with mindsummer, with lots of work and work-related panic, with a bit of last-minute overtime... Until yesterday evening, when I'd pulled together a final paper version, cleaned my desk a bit so the cleaning personell can get to the windows to wash them, and sent a couple of last emails, it suddenly hit. My summer vacaction.

After all this time of running like a chicken with its head cut off, suddenly I don't necessarily need to panic about anything and can basically spend a whole day doing nothing if I want to. It's a funny feeling, but I definitely like it. I'm still a bit disoriented with all the sudden freedom, but I know I'm going to enjoy this.

The vacation also means I should be able to be less absent and actually get to my simming stuff some, yay! (If it stays hot, though, I might spend some time outside, but there's always the evenings...) First on my list is to start catching up with the story comments I owe here and there. Then, after that, or side by side with that, I'm going to continue the Bookacy rotation. Man, it's been so long I don't even remember what was going on or where excactly I was in the rotation. Thankfully I do keep notes. Then, of course, I want to start thinking about the next chapter, although there's quite some rotation to play and pictures to shoot etc. before I get anywhere with that. But, eventually.

So such. I'm alive and kicking and I guess also back, from my sort-of-absence as of late. What's going on with you guys?

I've been meaning to write this for a couple of days now, but have been too busy. You see, the thing is, currently in real life I am, well, pretty busy. So I thought I'd pop by and say hi now that I'm almost ready for bed and can't do anything much useful anymore.

Ha! Bet you didn't see this coming! I've been talking and talking about updating the Bookacies again, but I'm sure by now it started to look I never will. Well, seems like I got my act together after all.

So, after computer troubles, unsuccessfull CreMos, a severe case of writer's block and work deadlines, I finally proudly present: Chapter 33! I hope you enjoy. :) Clicky on the cover!

So, still here, as you can see. Haven't been posting lately, as there hasn't really been anything to post. I've still been quietly playing the Terranos and enjoying just playing, without any picture, plot or other pressures. It's been really nice.

Now that LJ seems to work again at least for the moment, I thought I'd babble on a little.

I don't know where this thing is going yet, but I have to say that it does feel good to be more inspired again.
